My boyfriend had a Reuben sandwich. The meat was burnt and he wanted to know why he's paying $8.50 and it doesn't get any fries. I had the seafood platter and it was over cooked and almost burnt. The only thing not burnt and overcooked was the salad and the garlic bread. We will never go back to this restaurant.

Service good, the food is very good, what you would expect in a mom and pop restaurant in South East PDX.

We last visited Ron's in 2011. Can't say much has changed. It is located on the edge of the Fred Meyer parking lot on 82nd in Clackamas, not far off the 205 freeway. We had a very late lunch in Salem and weren't especially hungry by 7pm but knew we should eat something. When my husband said he'd really like... More

As I've passed this place, literally, a thousand times without going in, I thought I'd give it a try on this last trip to Portland. I tried it for breakfast, and the scrambled eggs I ordered were perfect, but the hashbrowns tasted like they'd been deep fried in fairly old grease, and the slice of "ham" was actually a slab... This is a great homey place that all of the locals go to in town. The food was wonderful. My blueberry pancakes were the best I've ever eaten.

If you're looking for substance over flair, and taste over decor, come to Ron's. It will never be confused with a five star restaurant, but that's not why you come here. The servers are attentive without being hovering, which goes a long way in my book. I've yet to have breakfast here, but that's next on the list. If you... More

I've gone to this restaurant for a couple years now, and though the food is typical breakfast-fare, the waitress I always got was really nice and makes a point to remember her customers. However, I took my dad there for breakfast, and they double-charged my card. That wouldn't be such an issue if they would have refunded the additional charge,... More

This place has a Portland address but it is near the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas. We search for local places and found this for breakfast. Very clean, the staff was cheerful and pleasant and the food was some of the best we had on our trip. Motorcycle memorabilia and lots of fresh, hot coffee.Made in house freezer jam with our... More
