Initially, we had no plans of visiting Voodoo doughnuts because of the typical long wait times. (30 to 40 minutes?) When we walk by the shop we notice only a few people in line. Good timing, I guess. Because as soon as we got in line a bus load of tourist line up behind us! I highly recommend visiting the... More

This was more for the adventure than the food. Delicious donuts and lots of variety, but be prepared to stand in line for a long, long time.

We were here on a Friday night and luckily the line was not bad. The selection is immense and quite interesting. I will highly recommend going here just for the experience. The donuts are a bonus.

This was my third visit to voodoo donuts and was a bit disappointed. My first and second visits over four years ago were amazing. Small hole in the wall, lines weren't crazy and the donuts were delicious. My visit yesterday was quite different. We showed up around 5 pm and there was a very short line and I was pleased... More

It was our first time in Portland OR so of course, we had to go to Voodoo Doughnut. We got in line three times and the first two nights, we left the line after waiting for awhile. Our third attempt in the morning was more successful only because we chatted with a friendly elderly couple and the 45 minutes went... More

We have been going to Voodoo Donuts (VD) for years while in Portland, a city we have come to love and respect. As a first-time visitor there are few donut shops like VD, the long hours and long lines are testimony to its popularity. BUT I have to say keep your expectations low. The flavours (like Maple Bacon) are interesting... More

Some people pan the doughnuts saying they are not worth the wait in line. You go for the chance to get a doughnut called ODB (google if you dare), or one covered in fruit loops or one that looks like a voodoo doll that is jelly filled with a pretzel as a wooden stake. Or the very tasty Bacon Maple... More

We had to stop at the infamous Voodoo Donuts. There was a 30 minute line but totally worth it. We got the Voodoo Donut, Maple Glazed donut with bacon on top and the Mango Donut. You gotta have one of these!

Wish I could say I loved the doughnuts here, but they just weren't really my favorite. I actually prefer Dunkin Donuts to this, but that could just be my preference. I tried four different types of doughnuts here and all of them were quite heavy, dense and too sweet. Also the filled doughnuts were lacking in filling (noticed on the... More

The voodoo doll is my personal favorite though I am determined to try all the donuts they offer. Waiting in line is half the fun and part of the experience! My 12 year old nephew was impressed with the pole dancers in the club next door (door was open) when we went to voodoo late one night. Ha! Part of... More
