A donut lovers dream - especially if you like the donuts even sweeter than normal! This is accomplished by adding things like fruit loops or butterfingers bars as toppings- the cream filling is in some varieties and is really good!

This place has tasty doughnuts with crazy names. The line is always around the corner but is worth the wait.

So we were in Portland and had to have the Voodoo Doughnut experience. Watching on Food Network isn't the same, lol. So they have a second location that doesn't have as long of a line as the one downtown. It's Voodoo Doughnut Too - OPEN 24 hours 7 days a week, closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Years Day,... More

I stopped in here on a whim after reading reviews about this Portland hotspot. As recommended, I tried the maple bacon donut and two other varieties (a strawberry lemonade and chocolate coconut). I really enjoyed the maple bacon donut-sweet and salty deliciousness. My personal preference would have been slightly less bacon (or smaller pieces) but again, this is a preference.... More

As said by many others, the line is LONG. Probably about 30-45 minutes depending on when you go. The prices are a tad high, but I wouldn't expect anything else from a must see stop when visiting Portland. We bought a dozen assorted for about $30. One downside is that they are cash only, so bring at least $40.00 with... More

We were driving by and went at 10:30pm, there was no line at all. The clerks were friendly and answered our questions...Sooo many original donuts, we tried a few kinds - like the Tang donut and the huge apple fritter. For 4 donuts it was about $7. Worth it! Yum.

So yes the line is long. I was thinking I am waiting 30 mins for doughnuts? It was worth it. It is more than just funky topped doughnuts. It is being able to say you went. It was the first question I got when people asked where I went on vacation. Bacon maple bar was great!

Luckily, we went on an off-hour and were able to get these magnificent donuts with very little wait. A wait would've been worthwhile though; they were that good.

Voodoo was a fun experience, once. We went at night, the line wasn't terribly long. If you want to see Portland culture at night, go for it, without children. For the most part, it was doughnuts with creative names, but doughnuts all the same.

I was pretty lucky when waiting a sweet 20 minutes. Nonetheless, wait 1h and it will still be worth it! This place is cult! Make sure to take the legendary bacon-maple donut, to whom it sounds dubious, you'll be surprised!
