Well since the location was right across from our hotel we visited several times. I did not eat everytimeI went but admired eeveryone's selections. The name of the doughnut is what sets them apart. Like the "dirty ba$ tard" so fun and who can resist maple and bacon on a doughnut. I loved the atmosphere the best everyone was cheer... More

Were told by several folks that we had to visit Voodoo Donuts in Portland. Very interesting place. Was not crowded when we went (unusual). Selection of donuts choices was very many & very unusual. Store front had many photo opportunities which made it a good place to visit.

This is a place you must go to when you are in Portland. A great variety of donuts and an interesting atmosphere for this highly-rated specialty place.

I was lucky to go when the line wasn't very long. My first time here, I was actually standing outside. It would have been nice if there was canopies to give shade to the customers who have to wait outside. Inside was a bit warm. The environment was nice though, had weird chandeliers and shirts for sale. The cashiers were... More

We were in Portland for the weekend and had to check out the two donut places - The famous Voodoo and Blue Star. We got the maple bacon at both, and while we liked both, we'd give the win to Voodoo. Theirs had more of a maple flavor, whereas we mainly tasted the bacon at Blue Star. We were lucky... More

If you're not a doughnut lover, I recommend you don't bother standing in line for these donuts. However, if you are and have some free time and the location isn't out of your way - go for it. Since we were staying across the street, at the Embassy Suites Portland, from Voodoo Doughnuts, it was pretty convenient to walk over... More

We had to stop by this iconic donut shop after seeing it on TV, and hearing so much about it. Voodoo is located on SW 3rd Ave in between Burnside & Ankeny in Old Town - Chinatown in DTP. Voodoo offers unique creations as well as a Portland cream donut, bacon maple bar, and vegan donuts. We had one of... More

No matter whether you are dieting or not, you need to visit Voodoo Doughnut. Usually there is a line snaking out the door and down the sidewalk, but we lucked out and walked right in. The counterperson was patient and helpful, since we knew nothing about the varieties this unique place sells. Have a Voodoo Doll, or maybe a Memphis... More

There is usually a line out the door for this shop. We were fortunate to only wait a few minutes. They have funky donuts with strange names. I picked out a donut with crushed oreos on top. I found the portion to be large. They have donuts with cereal on top ad even bacon.

I had heard of VooDoo donuts and was strongly advised not to miss it on our trip to Portland. It did not disappoint!! The maple bar with bacon was a melt-in-your mouth sleigh ride!
