Open 24/7 and although the line can get long, it goes fast. I'm not a big doughnut fan, but the signature voodoo guy is fun to eat and tasted great. Its a splurge that should not be missed while in Portland. Just do it.

I don't know if the girl who served us was having a bad day, but my family and I were not and her attitude put a damper on our spirits in a new city. She came up to the register without greeting us, no smile, didn't ask what we'd like. She just walked up and looked at us. It was... More

I think if you're in Portland this place is so iconic, you probably should go. The biggest appeal is the amazing variety of donuts they have. Where else can you get a donut with Captain Crunch on it, or shaped like a voodoo doll? That part is a lot of fun, and seeing all the donuts in the case and... More

O.K. I have to admit, Voodoo Doughnut was sort of a bucket list thing for me, so I went in late one evening and bought myself a raised glazed seasonally themed Thanksgiving doughnut slathered in chocolate and topped with a yellow Easter Peep chick masquerading as a turkey. How fun! Kitschy, yes! Corny, yes. Odd, of course! But fun to... More

We tried the maple with bacon doughnut which was THE doughnut to try. It was pretty good. The staff was nice and we got there just in time because at least 20 people showed up right after we got there. The other doughnuts we tried were ok too. I'm sorry I'm a Krispy Kreme girl all the way for now.

I'm sure there are better donuts out there, but there is no better Donut shop than this place. Packed at nights but we were the only ones in here during a Monday morning at around 8am. Nice staff and they have so neat flavor combos and shapes and sizes. I got the maple bar with bacon strips. yum!

There is nothing highbrow or lowbrow about the place: the weird concoctions are just infantile. Visit if you want to test your gag resistance

Everyone raves about Voodoo donuts and the lines are long, but we had heard this is a Portland tradition, and felt we had to experience it. We're glad we did, as the atmosphere and people made it a memorable visit! The donuts themselves are very good, but I think you go there for the experience rather than just to eat... More

My in-laws came to visit and wanted to go to Voodoo. It was a hot day and there was a long line. Of course there's quite often a long line. Once inside, we made our picks of some of the differing varieties they offer. We partook and decided if we ever go back, we'll go to their other store instead... More

the look and feel of the place make you want to try the donuts. ever seen a line at a place and said that's way too long? well if you see the line at this place it just makes you even more curious to the point you find yourself standing in a long long (but it moves quickly) donuts are... More
