I knew I wanted to try this place, it's on every food travel show. The line is intimidating during the day, so we decided to hit it up after dinner (even though we were stuffed from dinner). The line at about 8pm took us 15 min to get through. The anticipation of the donut choices and seeing people leave incredibly... More

My wife and I excitedly waited "only" 30 minutes for the privilege of ordering Voodoo donuts. The menu is huge and we ordered an assortment. The maple bacon donut was very good, but the others were disappointing, being very heavy in consistency. While we were glad for the experience, not so much the donuts.

Long wait to get in, but def worth the wait! The neighborhood is super unique and just a little weird, but it all adds to the atmosphere! Get the maple bacon bar- you'll be glad you did.

We LOVED our donuts from Voodoo-probably the best donuts I've ever had in my life. My favorite was the "old dirty b-ard" (Oreo/Peanut butter on top), but we also tried the Voodoo doll ones, the maple bacon one, and a few others and they were just as delicious. The line is well worth it for the donuts and the experience... More

This place was much smaller than I expected, basically a take out place with limited outside seating. The doughnuts were absolutely as advertised, the best I've had. Bring cash, they do not accept any type of plastic. They also are high volume, think ordering like the Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode, no small talk.

Being from Washington, we have heard a lot about Voodoo Doughnuts from mostly the media. We traveled to Portland for a three day getaway and went to Voodoo about an hour before they opened, as we had heard about the humungous lines. We kept having transients pass by us looking for handouts, which got to be offensive and extremely irritating... More

Don't be discouraged by the line outside; it goes quick. This place has quirky doughnuts, which taste good, but I'm not anxious to go back. We got: Diablos Rex (small, chocolate with red sprinkles and chocolate chips, O.D.B (oreos and peanut butter), and Oh Captain My Captain (Capt Crunch on top). Maybe it's the vibe of the place, but the... More

There's a lot of hype about these doughnuts. They are good, but not 'the best I ever ate.' Very unique flavors though.. The maple bacon was the best one I had. Also got the original voodoo one. We waited for 5-10 minutes at this location as the main location had a VERY long line.

We take all our visitors here as the cult of voodoo is strong! The donuts are ok but the flavors, marketing and overall brand is amazing. We have yet to queue but we warned there is sometimes a queue round the block for donuts. The area where you sit to eat was very dirty and overflowing with trash which could... More
