Had dinner here and the food was excellent. We had great service too from Justin. Got here early as I had heard reservations were recommended but we got one of the two tables near the windows and had no issues without a reservation. Later in evening it may be required as there is limited seating. Both of us had a... More

Clean and fresh ingredients, flavors are wonderful. It is a bustling small restaurant to the western edge of the Hawthorne neighborhood. Reservations may be needed. I can't go to any other Indian restaurant in town, I love it so much.

I have eaten here more times than I can count over a 20 year period. I proposed to my wife here in 2000. I've eaten most everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed. One important thing for me is that the quality and flavor of the food has not ever changed. It is wonderful food that been consistently... More

Service was good, but the food was just ho-hum. The Mixed Grill entrée included shrimp, chicken and lamb. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, the chicken was bland and the lamb was just terrible - very, very dry and tough with grizzle. Going here I expected delicious food and definitely food that the restaurant would be proud to serve and... More

Located on the popular east side street, Hawthorne Blvd, Bombay Cricket Club is surrounded by cool eateries. You must be one of the best to maintain a large clientele in such a popular area. The seating area is small, perhaps 15 tables on the main level and a balcony with 4 -5 additional. Also on the main level is a... More

Have been here many times. Nice little spot. If you can get one, I suggest a table upstairs. Everything is delicious and authentic. Gorgeous Naan Bread. Parking is readily available in the adjacent (free) lot. Can't go wrong here.

The Bombay Cricket Club was highly recommended to us by friends, we went there recently for dinner, and the dinner was good, although it wasn't as great as I expected it to be. Service was very good, there were reasonable choices for vegetarians. All in all a good restaurant, but not one of the best.

We were tourists and unfamiliar with Portland when we ate at Bombay Cricket Club which was recommended to us by our Bed and Breakfast (The Portland White House) although the recommender had never eaten there. The ambiance is fine, a neighborhood restaurant feel. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was half full. The food was ok, nothing special. The... More

Three of us had a full dinner with appetizers. The service was efficient and courteous, the food was fresh and perfectly seasoned and the end cost was very reasonable. A great place to dine.

Great food, great service, and strongest, most delicious mango margaritas ever! This is my favorite place to eat. Everything on the menu is fantastic! Make sure to make reservations or you'll be sorry!
