I did not eat here but I stopped in for a beer. They had 10 locals on tap and they are always changing. Great small bar with cozy booths

super friendly staff, very busy, had a fabulous mixed drink special and my food was great. They were very willing to substitute and offer ingredients for my allergy. Desserts were spectacular! The tiramisu was so fresh and real tasting, it was divine. I am told the chocolate specialty dessert is a must, and it takes 40 minutes to make so... More

My wife and I took our daughter for brunch on a Saturday morning this past June during our annual trip to Portland. We went to Veritsble Quandary because of the high ratings on TripAdvisor. We were seated in the main dining room at a table that has a view of the patio seating area. The decor is very inviting and... More

It was a cold rainy night here in Portland and we reserved a table for ten in order to celebrate my 75th birthday. From the minute we walked in, we experienced a warmth of hospitality and gracious service that transformed a delectable dinner into a memorable delight. Our awesome server, Ryan, was an extraordinary host for us - explaining and... More

What a classic Portland space. As you walk through. The front door and pull back the floor to ceiling curtain you step back in time to a by gone era. The classic long, solid wood bar and cozy booths of the upper bar is wonderful. The restaurant with its' multiple levels and booths are a real treat. The cocktails were... More

Yes, it is disappointing when an egg is not prepared as ordered, so I'm terribly sorry that we fell short. That salad is one of our most popular dishes, so I can assure that this doesn't happen often, but I'll talk to the team nonetheless. Can you remind me which day you joined us so I can speak to the... The ambiance is worth the price of anything on the menu. You walk in and just the feeling of ppl much more important than yourself have frequented this Restraunt and enjoyed. House cocktails are fantastic.

Went here with our son before he headed back to the east coast. Service was great from beginning to end. Duck spring roll appetizers were amazing. I would not order the rabbit pate again though. Duck main course, and grilled prawns were stellar. Seafood stew could have used some more spice, but the seafood was plentiful. Great splurge - expensive... More

Thanks for that note about our stew -- we'll make sure the spice is consistent. Aside from that, I'm so glad you enjoyed. Keep us in mind for brunch, too! I hope your son had a good trip. Cheers, Erin, GM More

I used to come to this restaurant/bar when I was in my 20s. It was quite the scene, but I don't remember much about the food. I just returned last month to try the dinner menu with friends ( I'm now well into my 50s....) The food is amazing! Wonderful fresh farm to table style presentation, with ample servings of... More
