stopped randomly on a stroll downtown. Service was very friendly, food was great. Portion sizes are a little small, but it's as expected. Homemade lemonade and lots of other great beverages available. Good for a quick Mexican food fix!!!

Quite possibly the best burrito's in all of Portland! Be ready for a bit of a line wait, but its worth it. they serve beers, authentic ceviche, and amazing tacos/burritos. Located smack in the middle of downtown, located next to a cool bar called MOMO's.

Decent mexican food, they make it spicy & and it's quite affordable. Funny atmosphere with cheesy mexican furniture and music. Worth a quick stop inbetween downtown shopping.

Stopped here a couple of times - for a afternoon beer, for a late breakfast and for lunch. I'm always looking for good little taquerias when away from home and this was quite an acceptable place. Right by a light rail RED Line stop and a few easy blocks from the downtown hotels. Nothing fancy, just good food in a... More

Yes, it's quick. Yes, it's convenient. Yes, it's affordable. But, it's just average food. Honestly, I don't think it's any more tasty than the big chain burrito spots (you know the ones I'm referring to). I had the Pastor Pork burrito. The pork was well cooked, but honestly my stomach hasn't felt 100% happy since. They do offer 3 styles... More

Friendly staff, good food, good prices. They aren't fancy, so don't expect cloth napkins. In summer they have outdoor seating on the street, so you can indulge in the rare opportunty to enjoy the sun! I eat here for lunch during work, so I'm in fairly often and they ask how I'm doing and are friendly.

They are a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. They have great Tortas de Milanesa, Pozole and many other treats for an amazing price. I am so sad that they moved from Hillsboro, but I will make it my birthday tradition to go there to get my fix.

Good Food, good prices, People watching, big time..and full bar. This is the most Authentic Mexican food I have tried in the area, and the people running the place are very nice. the place is a bit small, and if you are uncomfortable with "Portland Weirdos" not for you ! My husband and I stopped in here on a late weekday night to satisfy our Mexican food craving. We liked the idea that we could eat outside and watch the people, cars, and other assorted downtown things go on by. When we walked in, the server originally told us they were closed and could not serve us, but then changed... More

I love to eat outdoors and have a beer with my Mexican food, and Mayas has always delivered. It's just a lot of fun. But the food was really pretty average. There are better places to go for Mexican in Portland. I had three tacos and of those three only the pork al pastor was really, really good. The carne... More
