A rather quiet place for brunch that's a hidden gem!

I love mac and cheese and eat it way too often. This place has like 8 kinds of mac and cheese and none that I have tried have disappointed yet! Make sure you order enough food to have leftovers because the foil creations at the end are wildly entertaining!

From the outside, had I not been invited by other family for a birthday dinner, I would have never given this place a 2nd glance. it looks like a grungy dive bar...in a somewhat seedy part of the lower SE side of Portland, in the warehouse district, under the Morrison Bridge. Once inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Euro-style seating... More

We had a fantastic meal. The Blackened Chicken was very flavorful and moist, and the Jambalaya was spicy and delicious. The wait staff was personable and answered all out questions regarding the menu. We'll definitely return soon.

Great atmosphere at Montage that captures a bit of Louisiana. The bar staff were very pleasant and expertly made us a jalapeño martini and a gin cucumber limeade - both delicious. Seating is "community style" at long tables with white tablecloths and proper white cloth serviettes! Not seen in many restaurants these days but appreciated a lot. Our server, John,... More

This is a very busy place, they do not take reservations, like many restaurants in Portland, so we got there very early. We still had to wait for 30 minutes at the lounge but they have a good selection of inventive cocktails. The restaurant service is excellent. The three waiters who interacted with our table were friendly, quick, funny and... More

Could be the best macaroni on the face of the earth! I only order the spicy mac, can't try something else because this is soooo good, but beware it's spicy! None of my friends or even my husband can handle the heat of this dish! If we're really hungry we split a salad which could easily serve 3 as a... More

We went across MLK Blvd to have a drink at the Eastbank Saloon (which is under new management, so I'm not sure I can recommend this place as a viable place to spend your wait time for your table at Montage), and we're having a good time, when my step-daughter says she left her cell phone in her car. All... More

Had my first frog legs, tasted great! My entrée was delicious too, the Crayfish Étouffée. The place was busy, there was already a small crowd when the doors opened at 5pm on a Sunday night. We'll go back for sure, really a laid back place but nice enough to take friends and family to.

Went at 6:30 on a Friday night and had about a one hour wait. Not much of an area to wait in but there is a option to go to their bar. The menu offers a nice selection of entrees, salads and appetizers. The service is fast and efficient. The food was good, spicy of course and decent size portions.... More

My first impressions were.. are they trying to be 5*? The way the table was set and folded napkin waiting for you as you sit at your table, it is not what you expect when you enter the establishment. It is loud and looks more like a pub than a restaurant. Although I enjoyed the food very much.. our waiter... More
