Fun Creole experience

Montage has only gotten better. The food is varied and excellently prepared. The waitstaff is attentive and helpful, and should there be any leftovers from your meal, it will be cleverly wrapped in foil art.

Such good food. You're not going to have any leftovers, but that is also half the fun if you do. The SPOLD mac is fantastic, my personal fav. it's in a hidden under the Morrison bridge on the east side. Hence it's nickname as "the spot". so whenever friends and I are craving some creole/Mac 'n cheese goodness we just... More

Some may not like the communal table sharing aspect of dining but the food is very good and reasonably priced. Pesto mac and cheese lived up to the hype (if you're a pesto fan); the blackened chicken was actually succulent (and I don't think I've ever used that word before in a review). Tasting other dishes did not disappoint. Drinks... More

My friends and I went out for a night on the town and were impressed by Montage. The location is a bit sketchy, but the food was great. We all had different types of macaroni and were not disappointed The service was not the best and the waiters seemed annoyed when we would ask questions. It is a very unique... More

I love mac and cheese and eat it way too often. This place has like 8 kinds of mac and cheese and none that I have tried have disappointed yet! Make sure you order enough food to have leftovers because the foil creations at the end are wildly entertaining!

From the outside, had I not been invited by other family for a birthday dinner, I would have never given this place a 2nd glance. it looks like a grungy dive bar...in a somewhat seedy part of the lower SE side of Portland, in the warehouse district, under the Morrison Bridge. Once inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Euro-style seating... More

We had a fantastic meal. The Blackened Chicken was very flavorful and moist, and the Jambalaya was spicy and delicious. The wait staff was personable and answered all out questions regarding the menu. We'll definitely return soon.

Great atmosphere at Montage that captures a bit of Louisiana. The bar staff were very pleasant and expertly made us a jalapeño martini and a gin cucumber limeade - both delicious. Seating is "community style" at long tables with white tablecloths and proper white cloth serviettes! Not seen in many restaurants these days but appreciated a lot. Our server, John,... More

This is a very busy place, they do not take reservations, like many restaurants in Portland, so we got there very early. We still had to wait for 30 minutes at the lounge but they have a good selection of inventive cocktails. The restaurant service is excellent. The three waiters who interacted with our table were friendly, quick, funny and... More

Could be the best macaroni on the face of the earth! I only order the spicy mac, can't try something else because this is soooo good, but beware it's spicy! None of my friends or even my husband can handle the heat of this dish! If we're really hungry we split a salad which could easily serve 3 as a... More
