It had good ambience if you like something different. Seating is in rows so you could be right next to other dinners. Left over take out is unique, each wrapped in foil with a design from the staff. Oysters were nice.

Who would have thought that you could find some genuine French flavor in Portland, Oregon. This was my second visit and it was just as tasty as my first. I ordered Chicken Jambalaya on both visits. I tried to eat slowly, but ended up with the same feeling of sadness when my dish was empty. Planted in the least likely... More

You'll most likely not stumble across this place if you aren't a local, so go find one and ask them to take you to dinner here. Funky neighborhood (under a bridge) and whimsical interior decorations all lead to a dinner menu you will remember. Southern/Cajun style, lots of options and variations to choose from. We tried the flat iron steak,... More

This is a hidden gem. Outstanding preparation and presentation of a variety of generally southern cuisine. Arrive early as the wait can be long and the area a bit sketchy, but don't be dissuaded by the exterior. The white table cloths and napkins are all a part of making the evening special for travelers among a primarily local crowd.

My family and a local to the Portland area took us here after we landed in Portland at 1am. It was late but they were still open, the ambiance was candlelit tables that you share with many other diners. If you aren't into sharing tables then I wouldn't recommend this place, however for us it was great as it felt... More

This interesting Bistro serves great food, including Catfish, Alligator, many kinds of Mac and Cheese and wonderful gooey desserts. The staff was helpful and timely. Don't eat all of your food though, as you will want to see what the staff creates for you out of aluminum foil with your leftovers....Montage is under the Morrison Bridge and has a parking... More

My wife and I went here with my cousin and her husband who live in Oregon. There was a wait but it was well worth it. We started off with the frog legs which was a first for my cousin and I (my wife and my cousin's husband did not wish to try). The legs were really good actually, almost... More

Hey, I had heard about the complaints on hygiene. I did not see that. I did see a rustic restaurant with interesting original art. We had good service and the food was very good and in big portions. I had a Cajun egg dish that was quite good and the Bloody Mary was legendary, decked out with celery, olives, pearl... More

I visited here with a friend after he had gotten off work. I had previously eaten...he had not. He recommended the Mac & Cheese (because I love Mac & Cheese) and he ordered the biscuits and gravy. We each ended up taking half of our orders home...nicely presented in swan shaped tin foil.

We walk in and are placed to eat in the middle of a table filled with people sitting on each side and we are literally shoulder to shoulder with random people. The bathroom is literally DISCUSTING. It looks like they haven't cleaned it in a year. The soap doesn't work. Paper was everywhere. Pee and poop all over the toilet... More
