I'm normally not big about waffles- couple bites and I'm done, but these? I DEVOURED their waffles. Oh wow. The bread was thick and soft like a homemade roll and the syrup was sweet and classic maple. There was powdered sugar, but not too much and the syrup was delivered on the side. Get them!! Now, quick note about their... More

This neighborhood place serves hearty breakfasts. Excellent coffee, which we understand is Stumptown Coffee, blended especially for them. I had eggs, their house sausage (excellent, spicy with lots of fennel seed), and a biscuit. Others in our party tried the sausage biscuit (enormous portion--I suggest getting the 1-biscuit version) and pancakes. Be sure to visit the nearby shops. A wonderful... More

They dont say hello, they let you wait, its loud inside and not very comfy. Our food (pecan pancakes - preparing them took forever...) was okay. Not as fluffy as we hoped for, but okay. Would not recommend coming here.

We stayed in this neighborhood on our Portland trip and this breakfast place was great! There hash brown potatoes are not to be missed! Long line do get there early but totally worth it. The scrambles are also delicious and a unique spin on egg dishes.

This is our goto location for Portland breakfast. The service is excellent and the menu has multiple dishes that deserve top honors in the greater metro area. Arrive before 8:30 for faster seating as it is a little limited. Large groups have decent waits and two tops are usually seated fairly quickly. Expect to spend ~$10-15 per person. Three dishes... Gravy was the name so that is where I went for my first time here. And I will be back with reinforcements to work through the rest of the menu! The biscuit and sausage gravy was perfectly done and the scrambled eggs just right with the house special hot sauce to take them up a notch. Luckily I sat at... More

Best breakfast I've had in Portland. Get the everything (forgot what it's called) omelet with the kale side (so you can feel better about eating thousands of calories). My go to place to gain additional poundage.

We each had biscuits and gravy. The sausage for the gravy is made in-house. It tasted like Italian sausage which made the gravy a little sweet for my taste. The biscuits were very good. Portland is a food lover's paradise so I think this place will fit in nicely!

Delicious Mississippi District local restaurant that serves brunch until 3 p.m. Large portions for less money. Breakfast meal has a large variety of delicious choices along with an al a carte menu. Recommend going during the week to avoid the crowds and the long waits on weekends.
