Let me start by saying that we went at 11AM on a Tueday, and still got the last table. That says something about a breakfast place. Normally I don't order scrambled eggs because most breakfast places cook them as an afterthought, but wanted to get the eggs with two sides, as it gave me the bacon I so crave. The... More

Taken several friends here looking for something fun. LOVE the food, more than ample portions, (scrambles are my favorites). We were asked to leave early, as a large party had arrived, but it was done nicely. Lunches are just as good, but I prefer breakfasts. Weekends are a bit crowded, so go during the week.

This place has a great menu, some standard breakfast fare, but some unique items as well. Portions were very large and extremely flavorful. My only critique is that they asked us to leave early as they had a big table of people coming in that they weren't expecting and they were packed. But I would definitely, definitely, definitely go back!

I had a half serving of French toast which was more than enough food. It was delicious. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were very friendly. I went alone, and felt comfortable. Really enjoyed it.

"Gravy" is not a restaurant name one would associate with the NW. In fact the menu is Charleston, Charlotte, or Savannah ( 'burbs). I had the "Romero" scramble which was FILLED with tasty sausage. Two in our group stepped up the "whole hog" (a scramble with an unrelated French name) that was more than anyone could finish. Great food ,HUGE... More

Ate at Gravy four different times while visiting my daughter at University of Portland. Even though the wait is always long, it is so worth it, as the food is outstanding and seriously the best. We eat breakfast out every weekend in the South Bay of Los Angeles, and after eating at Gravy, that is now hard to do because... More

Chicken fried steak, omelette, scrambles, oatmeal that is not your boring oatmeal and the best French toast. You have to eat here several times so you can try every thing. Challah bread French toast is now my fav but I love the hash browns and gravy too. Bloody Mary's are tasty too.

What a meal! We had the most delicious brunch here. We waited a little bit to get a seat but boy was it worth it! The portions are HUGE that we each had another meal from what was left.

For the line outside I was expecting slightly better. The line outside can be intimidating but, don't let that scare you off. The food was great! Huge portions and quality food for what you pay for. Try the omelettes or the oatmeal brulee (highly recommended). The down side was the slow service and the unfriendliness of the server.
