Without a Doubt

I wanted to try this place for a long time, but it seemed really busy every time I passed by. All the reviews said they were worth the wait, but I had my doubts. Last week I finally bit the bullet and went in. "We'll see," I thought to myself as I entered our name at the bottom of the... read more

Their Biscuits and Gravy is made in house and so is the corn beef hash, with the addition of some new flavors they have taken classic breakfast food to a new level. The chicken fried steak is a steak not some poor beaten piece of mystery meat.

This was our first time at this restaurant and I would highly recommend. The wife and I went their on a Thursday morning around 9am and we're seeted right away. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy and the wife had ham and eggs. The food, service and atmosphere were all great.

Came here once before and ordered the biscuit and gravy. This time I ordered the French toast and it was epic. 4 slices of challah with a crackle of almond somewhere on the bread. Our waitress was fast and efficient. My only negative was the ridiculous amount of waiting. We watched as tables emptied and just sat there without them... More

We went to Gravy for brunch on a Saturday. Arrived before 9:00 but still had to wait. It was worth it. The three of us had pancakes, French toast and an egg dish. Pancakes were a short stack and French toast was a half order. Portions are huge. I also had house made sausage as a side. Great flavor with... More

We came here for brunch around 10:30am on a Thursday. There was a very short wait. The challah bread French toast is a must, but a half order is enough. The hearty food helped all the hangovers and we weren't hungry for the rest of the day.

We're from Texas and know a little about Bisquits and gravy so this place rates high. We went with the country gravy and were really impressed. My family had scrambles and the Bacato seemed to be the best.

I recently visited Portland and Gravy was a highly recommended spot. It did not let me down. Like most neighborhood spots, even during the middle of the week there is a healthy wait time to be seated. So plan accordingly. The food was fresh down to the hot tea being served loose leafed and the service was attentive and helpful... More

Gravy is hard to describe! It's got great menu items - all organic, many gluten-free, or vegan (but not all) and something that's certain to please every taste and preference. I would highly recommend the oatmeal!

Big portions. And yes you may have to wait. But you can grab a cup of coffee and hang out. Great menu that will keep us coming back. Loved the French toast, choc chip banana pancake, omelet, both types of potatoes, and a great cup of coffee. They have veggie cheese and a gluten free pancake option. Wish my stomach... More
