Hit the door just as they opened on a Saturday morning. All seats are at the counter and this is definitely a family run business. Omelette was huge and is served with toast and hash browns for $10. Since they had a sign about fresh strawberries, I asked to substitute them for the hash browns... read more

Looking for that classic greasy diner in Portland? Look no further to Fuller's. I first came to this restaurant right after a class. When I walked it, I felt like I was transported back in time to an old school diner. I had your regular two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. For what you pay for you feel full.... More

Excellent breakfast, with "sudden" service. It's a different experience, being perched on a stool at a counter, rubbing elbows (literally) with strangers, but the food is well worth it. The house omelet was incredible and the coffee just kept coming. They walk the thin line between letting you savor your food and keeping the seats turning. Great diner. I thought... More

Just a good solid breakfast of quality comfort food. Had the omelette with homemade bread for toast. It was great. Not sure how they made it but it was fluffy and substantial. Cooked just right. Service was fantastic. Very friendly staff all around. Don't expect some fancy place. This is a comfort food spot with down home cooking. If you... More

What a fun place for breakfast. I felt like I stepped back in time. The food was great. I had the Vegie Omelet. Really good. The menu offers all the old comfort foods. Chicken Fried Steak, etc. It only seats 26, all at the counter. It was always busy and full. Worth any wait though. A Portland "locals" restaurant.

We got to Fuller's at nine on a Sunday morning, and it looked like we were in-between the early and late breakfasters. So we sat outside on a glorious and warm fall day. The U-shaped counters were inviting, but the outside table let us savor one of the last sunny and warm days of the year. I had an omelet,... More

Visited Fuller's for breakfast recently and was not disappointed. Our server was extremely friendly, the wait wasn't that bad and food came fast. Their country fried steak hit the spot and helped sooth my hangover. Prices weren't bad and everything seemed good. What tops it all off is the awesome old school American diner atmosphere. Will definitely come back again... More

Chose this place as our first breakfast in Portland. The food was nice, we shared a large breakfast. But the coffee was so bad that I have to give this place a thumbs down. Seating was a challenge, get there early if you visit on a weekend. Cool 50's kind of diner. Nice servers.

We happened upon this 50's style cafeteria one night on the way back to our hotel and we knew instantly we had to try the fare. Old fashioned signs outlining the Fuller's favourites including corned-beef hash, pigs in blankets, homemade oatmeal and all the other breakfast fixings. Loved the atmosphere with great service and darn good cooked meals. Made a... More

I stumbled across this when I was looking for a breakfast place that was open very early. This is your good old 40's/50's neighborhood diner with basic, honest food. The atmosphere is great and staff really friendly. But don't expect delicious food. My bacon was burnt, the toast soggy, the coffee thin. Still worth a visit.
