Counter Style Restaurant

Hit the door just as they opened on a Saturday morning. All seats are at the counter and this is definitely a family run business. Omelette was huge and is served with toast and hash browns for $10. Since they had a sign about fresh strawberries, I asked to substitute them for the hash browns... read more

Great breakfast - we alternated between Isabels and Fullers. Probably the best hash browns ever! Good service and energy among the service team.

After seeing 4.5 stars, we anticipated an unusually good Diners, dives and drive in type breakfast. Not so. Just average. Not above average or unusual at all. My wife ordered french toast and it was very good. I had a plastic 8 Oz glass of water with no ice. I had the house omelet, hash browns, homemade rye toast. The... More

Great people serving great food at great prices. Sure the coffee could be a bit stronger but I did not come here for coffee. I ate breakfast here twice in 3 days. The omelettes are indeed creamy and stuffed with goodness. The toast is actually toasted, not just warm bread & the hash browns are honest to goodness hash browns.

Looking for that classic greasy diner in Portland? Look no further to Fuller's. I first came to this restaurant right after a class. When I walked it, I felt like I was transported back in time to an old school diner. I had your regular two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. For what you pay for you feel full.... More

Excellent breakfast, with "sudden" service. It's a different experience, being perched on a stool at a counter, rubbing elbows (literally) with strangers, but the food is well worth it. The house omelet was incredible and the coffee just kept coming. They walk the thin line between letting you savor your food and keeping the seats turning. Great diner. I thought... More

Just a good solid breakfast of quality comfort food. Had the omelette with homemade bread for toast. It was great. Not sure how they made it but it was fluffy and substantial. Cooked just right. Service was fantastic. Very friendly staff all around. Don't expect some fancy place. This is a comfort food spot with down home cooking. If you... More

What a fun place for breakfast. I felt like I stepped back in time. The food was great. I had the Vegie Omelet. Really good. The menu offers all the old comfort foods. Chicken Fried Steak, etc. It only seats 26, all at the counter. It was always busy and full. Worth any wait though. A Portland "locals" restaurant.

We got to Fuller's at nine on a Sunday morning, and it looked like we were in-between the early and late breakfasters. So we sat outside on a glorious and warm fall day. The U-shaped counters were inviting, but the outside table let us savor one of the last sunny and warm days of the year. I had an omelet,... More

Visited Fuller's for breakfast recently and was not disappointed. Our server was extremely friendly, the wait wasn't that bad and food came fast. Their country fried steak hit the spot and helped sooth my hangover. Prices weren't bad and everything seemed good. What tops it all off is the awesome old school American diner atmosphere. Will definitely come back again... More
