Went with a large group to this Steakhouse. The service was superb! Food was excellent albeit a bit on the pricey side. Atmosphere reminded me of an old, classic steak house. Had the filet mignon and it was superb. I am gluten free and the wait staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Though I could not have it, others raved... More

We were fortunate to have dinner here and loved everything about it. We started with the french onion soup and I think I could have had that as a meal. It was so savory and delicious. Everything else we ate was great food. Unfortunately were stuffed into a corner in the bar because of the wait times, so the seating... More

Went to the bar while waiting for our table. Bartender informed us he was 'old school'. No fuu fuu drinks here, I didn't even try to order a lemon drop. Settled for decent glass of wine. On to dinner...The Bread was great. He ordered prime rib. It was lean but super tender and great flavor. I had rib eye. Perfectly... More

I have gone to the ringside many many times ! The service is second to none, I can remember when smoking was allowed in this place. LOL I can tell you that this place has been successful because the food is top notch and the staff is on point. Yes it is on the high side but you get what... More

We held my son's rehearsal dinner at the Ringside. Since I am out of town, all arrangements had to be made long distance. The staff were wonderful and responsive to my questions, making suggestions where I requested. Our meal was superb! The majority of our 26 guests chose the 12 oz filet and all raved about it. The lobster and... More

We have enjoyed eating at the Ringside many times and have never had bad service or food and have always left feeling like we had just had a memorable experience. Everything from the French onion soup, the onion rings, which are some of the best you will ever eat, the prime rib, any steak you order, the au gratin potatoes,... More

I went there with 7 family members for dinner. It is fairly dark and atmospheric inside. The menu was varied and the choices were good. The wine list is large. I had lamb chops, which were cooked as I requested and very good. The others all liked their meals, as well. We ordered onion rings, which I found irresistible. The... More

We always visit Ringside when in Portland for both the ambiance and the food. We enjoyed our prime rib dinner with a delicious 'orphan' bottle of wine at a very reasonable price. Scott, our waiter, was attentive and professional. Can't wait to go back.

Ringside East was closed for an overhaul, so the family decided to go to the Uptown Portland for Mother's Day. As always, we enjoyed their famous onion rings. Usually, the caesar salad is crisp. This time, it was a little soggy, but still good. I had the top sirloin. It was flavorful and tender. Enjoyed it. My Mom ordered her... More
