The atmosphere is informal and the place seems family owned. My friend and I just wanted a quick bite and popped in for a simple lunch. Service was good, not 100%, but definitely friendly. The food was excellent, very reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. Try the pad Thai with glass noodles! Glass noodles are made from mung beans and... More

Made reservations for four and we were seated quickly, and attended to immediately. The ambiance is not fantastic, but the food makes up for it. Fresh ingredients, good serving sizes and moderately priced menu items. I had the panang chicken and it was very good. If you are looking for quick, good Thai...check it out!

The flavours were perfect, so fresh and delicious. Decent prices and large portions. One make servers is very personable and fun, while the others are courteous but not overly friendly of upbeat. Quick service, even when slammed, apparently. I had the pad see ew, with pad thai to go. My parents had cashew chicken and fresh rolls which were both... More

Visited Portland and stayed at a hotel near 23rd Ave. Several Thai restaurants to choose from, but this one seemed hopping and was closest to our hotel. Ordered three dishes. Pad Thai noodles were average. I've had worse. The noodles were a little soggy but it was not terrible. Second dish was green curry. This looked more like a soup.... More

Came for lunch directly from the airport. Was coldly greeted, handed a greasy, dirty menu. Thank heaven for hand sanitizer. Seated under a pair of vent blowing cold air on my head. No wonder the table was free. Service continued to be cold and my ordered meal arrived in the appropriate amount of time. String beans over a filet of... More

The food was good (we both got Shrimp Pad Thai); nothing too special, but yummy. The service was definitely lacking as others have pointed out. Our server seemed angry from the minute we walked in, and both our dinners being screwed up didn't help anything. We both received chicken instead of shrimp, as did the table next to us, and... Excellent Thai food. Everything tasted great. This is in an area with tons of good restaurants, and this place can easily stand up to the others. Not really a criticism but when I was in Paso Robles California I had a Thai iced tea that had the little tapioca pearls. I would love to find another place that also had... More

We were with a larger group and ordered quite a variety of dishes to share. These are the ones I really enjoyed: Po Pia Sod as an appetizer, Papaya Salad, Stir Fried Green Curry Beef, but the best was the Roast Duck with Tangerine Sauce, very tasty with a large portion of duck. The service was great, the prices reasonable.... More

We have eaten Thai food in many states. It is one of our favorite foods. The Red Onion was the best Thai food we have ever eaten. Unique dishes, fresh and flavorful. Great service too! Excellent experience!
