There is nothing out of this world about cup and saucer, but they are consistent and have a great vibe. You will always be well taken care of and the food is certainly above average for brunch spots in Portland.

Breakfast in the Portland area is difficult because of all the choices one has. Returning to Portland after a few year's absence, i looked forward to having something healthier and different. This casualrestaurant offers that and more and was just as good as when we lived there. The vegetarian black beans on rice with vegetable will fulfill more than half your... More

All in all we were happy we stumbled into the Cup & Saucer. The hostess was prompt to get us a table, a menu and a piping hot of great coffee. The daily special was an apple & bacon pancake - we had to try that (split between the 2 of us, it was enough to share). In addition we... More

This place isn't at all fancy but it serves the best bacon that i've ever tasted anywhere. Nuf said! It's my second visit to the restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. I would return for the bacon. Service is friendly, and they have a newsletter leaflet that's fun to read.

We had breakfast here before leaving Portland and it was unbelievable. We had the vegetarian biscuits and gravy which was amazing and we are not vegetarians by any means. The pancake special that day was strawberry chocolate chip and was by far the best pancake we'd ever had. The strawberries were sweet and juicy which mixed beautifully with the rich... More

We were trying to go to Jam but the line was soooo long and we usually wait but just didnt have the time this day,so up the street was Cup&Saucer. I wasnt impressed. I will keep it short. I ordered 1 gingerbread buckwheat pancake with bacon and eggs. The pancake was like an old brownie. Just falling apart everywhere. The... More

I ate waaaay too much here! They have many veggie and vegan options, plus my non-veggie husband was really happy, too. This was our second visit. The kitchen is indeed a bit slow, but when I'm on vacation, I can afford to chill a bit. I had the absolutely most divine pesto tofu-scramble with vegan "cheese" and my husband husband... More

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and just plain excellent service! Never a bad meal...! The wait staff is friendly, attentive and professional. Prices are great, considering this place is located in trendy Hawthorne. Friendly and welcoming to all families!

I'm being a bit generous with a 3 for the restaurant in Kenton. This is perhaps the newest location of the local "chain" and a welcome addition to the various retail establishments in the Kenton business area. That said, it has some serious short comings. First of all, the floor appears to have been ignored when the space was renovated... More
