Delicious, convenient Mediterranean restaurant

Not all Mediterranean restaurants are equal, not in quality and not referencing geography. Karam has Syrian-inspired cuisine, which departs a bit from others in the same general category. The servings are ample, the quality of the food is very good. The service is fine.

The Foul Medames was great, and so was the Mansaf Ghanam (rice with beef and lamb). The homemade pita bread was out of this world delicious.

Great food! Had lam kebabs with couscous, it was tasty. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Service was also great and fast.

We have eaten here several times in the past, always enjoyed it, and looked forward to this visit. We were greatly disappointed. They moved to a new location. Did they also get a new chef? The Ful Madamas appetizer was extremely lemony and mushy. My wife said that her Chicken Fatte was not flavorful. My Okra Casserole was bland with... More

We went to Karam and the owner helped us out. He made a recommendation to order a meat sampler with 5 or 6 different dips and it was wonderful. They he said we had to try the dessert and am I glad I did. I don't know what it was but it was soooo good. I will definitely be going... More

The food is fresh and plentiful. My husband and I split the vegetarian mezze, which came with hummus, baba ganouj, taboli, and fallafel. Everything was outstanding. My husband had the lamb shank as an entree; the meat was seasoned beautifully and just melted off the bone. I had the tawouk sandwich: tender chunks of marinated chicken wrapped up in pita.... More

This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurant that I have been in my entire life. And I've already visited and worked in several countries of the Middle East and North Africa... The setting is simple and very beautiful. The music brings a nice exotic vibe while you are enjoying your meal. I have a devious portion of kibbeh made... More

This restaurant happened to be around the corner from our hotel and the Yelp reviews were high so we tried it for lunch. Truly makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Wonderful food. Everything was fresh. Yum!

Great menu for a restaurant full of native middle eastern guests. The good restaurants have nationals of the countries whose food they claim to serve. This place was one of them. Service was good and the menu was very diverse. They were helpful in picking out the best entrees. Be prepared for a lot of food, so consider sharing or... More
