We visited here on a Groupon and will be making it a habit, as well as recommending it to anyone who will listen. The service was great, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was incredibly tasty, in generous portions, and very affordable at full price. Even the bathrooms are lovely!

For an authentic meal try Karam. Their lamb dishes are terrific and many of their items are available as full dinners or smaller wraps for lunch. Run by a real Lebanese family, it's often entertaining to watch the parents and the children scurrying around serving customers.

We visit Portland frequently and have tried a few Lebanese restaurants. Thus us our favorite. The calzones are great. The Lebanese pizza is even better. The fried cauliflower is light and fluffy. For desert we had the cake with rose water called Knafe-B-Kaak and the Ashtabula-B-Assal. Both were excellent. The food portions are substantial and the service very good. We... More

We went to the Beaverton location which just opened a few months ago. What a delight. My nephew had the meat platter with hummus and I had the vegetarian. Both were truly excellent. The server came by to ask us how things were even twice and refilled my tea. The bakery treats were outstanding. We'll return..

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was on our trip to Portland. We stumbled upon it and enjoyed appetizers, delicious soups and kebobs- all fantastic. The service was A+ as well.

The service is attentive. Food is delicious and plentiful. Love their new location. The manager/proprietors circled around twice to ask us if there was anything else we needed and how was the food. Servers refilled water, brought more pita without being asked. They offer GF pita, a plus for us. We had the meat mezza platter and my partner and... More

Wadie and Madjoline treated us to a delightful meal, each item of which tasted home-cooked. The pitas were hot and freshly made, the hummus and babaganouj delicately but fully-flavored. The meat dishes were delicious -- perfectly seasoned, piping hot, a delight to all the senses. The restaurant was completely full, but the servers pleasant and attentive. Save room for dessert... The humus was to live for and the other members of the party of adults and children seemed pleased though the look of one dish of a child was less than appealing. However, the two of us who ordered eggplant stew were very disappointed. We use eggplant ourselves in many dishes and you do not have to soak it in... More

We popped in for a snack and stayed for a meal. Each bite solicited sighs of awe and satisfaction. This mom and pop restaurant is both homey and elegant. This quality experience also comes with a surprisingly affordable price tag. Try Karam. You will not be disappointed!

The best falafels ever. Haven't had them this good since I lived in the Middle East. I take my family and friends here all the time for falafel plates. Fresh baked pita bread! The lentil soup is also amazing. There are so many choices on the menu that I am sure are great, but I love falafels!
