I loved the ambience and the confection. My wife and two kids all enjoyed the bakery and were glad that we stopped by on our last day in Portland

Our daughter recommended this boulangerie on Division Street (near our guesthouse accommodations) for a light lunch. As you walk in you are greeting with a showcase of French pastries almost impossible to pass by (we held our until the day before we left Portland -- otherwise, we would have stuffed ourselves with eclairs and tarts everyday!). But, there are also... More

My love of true French baking runs deep. I know the crackle of a perfectly baked croissant and an almond one is rarely good in the U.S. Well, I have found St. Honore to be exactly perfect. Paired with an outstanding cappuccino, I nearly cried. I have also tried the eclairs, the breads, sandwiches and other little cakes. All very,... More

I live right around the corner from the NW location and go several times a week for their baked goods and a good coffee. It feels like a true neighborhood spot, always filled with locals relaxing, reading the newspaper, catching up with friends and getting a quick and filling meal at the comunal table. Service is good and efficient.

Went to the NW location and loved, loved, loved the pastries. They are authentically French. While we were there, got to sit at bar and watch them being made... fun to see a trainee try to roll the dough. Enjoyable atmosphere... take some extra pastries home or on picnic.

We always go back there for the breakfast when we visit Portland. Superb deserts and baked things. Good coffee. Great breakfast. Just a little bit expensive for the breakfast, but it's worth it!

We have loved St. Honore in NW for years now, but we finally made it over to their SE location yesterday. As with the original, this bakery/cafe is outstanding. I had a Croque Madame, which is a Croque Monsieur with a poached egg on top. Delicious! The included greens were a savory mix of chicory, arugula, and other leaves, and... More

Had the chicken and mushroom in pastry for an entree. It was served with a salad and was just the perfect dinner. I followed it up with two decadent chocolate desserts, which were more than I could eat, but I took them back to the hotel to share. They disappeared like magic! The coffee was great too.

I stopped by on a Sunday morning before church after hearing St-Honore made pain au raisin, something I hadn't had since leaving France. I ordered that, as well as a cappuccino, and found a spot at the "bar" while I waited for a table to open up. The pain au raisin was pretty good, a little sweeter, a little more... More
