Always Busy, Always Wonderful!

St. Honore is the most authentic French Bakery in Portland, so everything they make is wonderful. I have visited by myself and had just a pot tea and a pastry and I've been with a crowd of friends for brunch and I've never been disappointed. Because it's a very popular local cafe and bakery... read more

First of all, I was a French tourist who wanted to show some French bakeries to my US friends. I was disappointed by the St Honore Bakery. When I order "the classics" (Pain au chocolat, Croissant, Pain au raisin), they make fun about my accent. The bakeries tasted like the cheap one you can buy in hard discount store in... More

You will smell the bread baking as you walk by this patisserie. The croissants are so good & the cappuccinos are made to perfection!

Talking food only this place is outstanding. We were visiting Portland at Christmas and went for lunch. Wonderful chicken tarragon sandwich and my husband said his croissant and frittata combination was outstanding. Apple bread pudding dessert to die for. Great soup. We regret that we do not live close enough to go here all the time and try out all... More

Exceeded our expectations. Worth the wait and traffic to get to each of their locations. One of the best French breads in the Portland metro area, relaxing atmosphere, great coffee and pastries. These are our 'go-to' spots almost each weekend before or after outings.

This is a favorite among NW Portland locals and features French bakery items and cafe-style food for lunch and dinner. Beverages are limited. The interior is interesting, with sidewalk seating, weather permitting. The food is great. The red beet salad is my favorite.

We stayed a week nearby and had pastries from this bakery several times. The pastries were very good, some of the best we've ever eaten. We didn't eat any other items there, so we can't say anything about the other food, but the pastries were great.

Stopped in for a quick lunch served up friendly and fast. I enjoyed the hot lentil curry soup with a couple slices of a nice fresh made bread with butter. My guy tried a wonderful butter croissant with a cappuccino. Seating can be communal or at tiny metal tables. Evocative of Paris.

Amazing chocolate croissants. So many pastries and all if them look amazing.huge variety of rolls, pastries and sandwiches, as well as daily soups. I really love the place and am so happy my friend took me here. It's quite a big site, nice wooden ceilings, busy at times but not too noisy. Due to a large long table by the... More

We visit Portland often and usually stay near the St. Honore Bakery (Silver Cloud Hotel, or Inn at Northrup Station). This is our usual coffee and breakfast place (although I have to cheat as they have no GF food). It's the best bakery, and in a good neighborhood close to so much shopping and restaurants. It's like walking into a... More
