My wife and I have visited our daughter in Portland the past three years. We discovered St. Honore Bakery our first trip and it has been a staple for us ever since. We stop in each morning for a coffee and pastry. They have an Apple Normandy that I particularly like. It reminds me of bread pudding with cooked apples.... More

We loved everything we got at the restaurant. I got the Croque Madame which was a delicious brunch sandwich but oddly came with field greens. My husband got a pastry which almost like a chicken pie. We also tried a hazelnut chocolate pastry which was to die for! I would gladly come back just for the hazelnut pastry. We got... More

I got the quiche because my tour guide mentioned they had them & I'd missed the menus & a huge line suddenly was behind me! It came with a very small side of lettuce but the quiche was a very good portion size! I was told the chef is some whoop dee doo chef so I was told to try... More

Excellent lattes! The raspberry croissant was okay. I was expecting the raspberries to be baked into the croissant. The quiche was very good. And the Oregon berry tart & chocolate dacquoise were amazing. Unlike the previous reviewer, I didn't find the staff to be pretentious, just extremely laid back & friendly. Enjoy!

I happened to just walk in this place not knowing what to expect, and walked out full and satisfied! The quiche Lorraine was very tasty...actually. pretty much anything I got from there was flavorful and tasty. I'd definitely go back!

I recommended Saint-Honoré Bakery to my French guests during their stay in Portland. According to them, the tarte aux fraises was delicious, but the pains aux raisins to go were just okay. They are under the impression Saint-Honoré is over rated. Pretentious staff welcomes you. Grand Central was our next stop and they loved the bread. Also, very expensive food... More

You order at the counter. You sit wherever you can find space and you enjoy the food. I had the hot ham and cheese sandwich. Two different pastries and wished I had room to try other things on the menu. Do not go if you are on a diet. EAT and ENJOY the calories.

Have lunch there. Stop for a pastry. Buy some bread for home. You will love it all! And not only that, you will love the atmosphere and feel of the room. Just do it.

We visit the locations in Lake Oswego and on Division street, both are equally nice. The baked goods and the quiche are fantastic. You can also order wine or mimosas. We like to pickup lunches to go at the Lake Oswego location before heading out to wine country. Visit a winery like Ponzi that has a nice view and have... More
