I like the food, ambience and the location. The price is a bit high, but worth it. It is a historic site in the center of the action, and is gracious and welcoming.

Food was good as was the service...prefer to be left alone when dining yet still get water refills etc. Food was correct temperature and came within a reasonable amount of time.

Located in The Heathman Hotel, this old timer proved to be a bit disappointing. It failed to live up to its reputation. I had a difficult time choosing what to eat, so I chose three appetizers instead of a main course. The food was served nicely but the flavors were not up to my standards.

Stopped in before a concert and ate dinner in the lounge. The bistro burger was amazing and so was the French onion soup. It was like heaven in a bowl. Wasn't too keen on the bruchetta because it had anchovies. But we will be back delish treat before the concert!

We always dine at the Heathman restaurant when in Portland, and it consistently delivers wonderful food in very civilized surroundings. Service this time for lunch was a bit slow, but when the food arrived, it was beautifully presented and delicious. My companion had the bouillabaisse and I had heirloom tomato gazpacho with tiny fresh shrimp and a beet salad, both... More

Walk with your companion next door to the bar at the Heathman, ask for a booth, order a cucumber cocktail, a light beer, a bowl of mussels with an extra slice of bread to dip in the sauce, and the razor clam on a bed of asparagus. Yum yum.

My husband and I like wood paneled bars and this one wAs so lovely, we shared a drink and a light supper. Our waitress, Chantelle, was just so charming. Not only did she provide great food and beverage service she also helped with tips for sightseeing. Highly recommend this place for drinks and a quick bite.

This is a staple of mine when visiting Portland, in fact each time. Tonight, with a menu change they did not have what I preferred. No problem. But when I asked for a Caesar salad with no anchovy, a common request in any restaurant, the kitchen said no! Anyone who cooks knows it takes just a few minutes to make... More
