Vibrant and subtle Thai food. Great value for price.

The food here is bold, yet subtle. We did not get the burning aftertaste that sometimes accompanies Thai food. My husband's seafood curry was loaded with a variety of shellfish. I had Pad ki mao and the tofu in it was perfect: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Salad rolls were very... read more

Our group of four recently ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our visit very much. There were three orders of Pad Thai ordered at different heat requests. I highly recommend you stay with the original heat - the "hot hot" request left my friend feeling ill because it was SO hot. With one bite my nasal passages opened up. However,... More

I stumbled upon Thai Peacock while walking around downtown and I'm so glad I found this place! I fell in love with the atmosphere the second I walked in - it's a gorgeous, trendy little Thai restaurant, bi-level, soft lighting, and loved the decor. They have a bar counter lined in front of the windows, service was fast, menu is... More

Recommend by our hotel, this was a very efficient restaurant with a pretty comprehensive menu, including the usual favorites and more if you have a sense of adventure. Service was good. Although he seemed wrong not to order a Singha, took advantage of the local craft beers they were serving.

Great TripAdvisor find. Full of locals even at 1:30pm. They have great lunch specials. We had 2 noodle dishes both with pork. Both were well prepared with tasty sauce, fresh ingredients, and visually pleasing.

Friendly and efficient service, quiet (but not too) atmosphere, comfortable place to dine alone. Food was delicious both days at lunch when I popped in for a bite. I had eaten here previously, years ago, so I am happy that nothing has changed apparently. This is my kind of place in that it's unpretentious, comfortable, not too noisy yet nice... More

At least 3 people from our hotel recommended this place and they were right. The food was delicious and not expensive and we could sit outdoors.

Got the tom kha with shrimp, which was exactly what you should expect at any decent Thai joint. Not exceptional, but sturdy, and at $9.50, a fair deal. I also had gyoza, but was disappointed in them, as they were deep fried, not pan fried, resulting in a tough dumpling redolent of fryer, not filling. Skip that. Others at the... More

Absolutely loved the food. We had #45, #58# and the curry with freshly cut mango, all dishes had a choice of tofu available. All of them an absolute hit! Very tasty, flavours just exploded in your mouth and despite feeling quite full, we kept eating till the serving bowls where clean. On a side note, try the hot Thai tea-it... More

Funky little place for good Thai food at reasonable prices. Extensive menu offers something for every taste. Surprised that no one asked us for heat preference in dishes, but if you like it hot, just ask for hot sauce and you'll get a trio to choose from. Bathroom is marginal, though, so skip if you're picky about that.
