So yummy, so fast. Prices are decent too. My most recent dish was Evil Jungle Noodles--delicious. Portions are HUGE for dinner, so you'll have leftovers. Lunch portions smaller, but still could be separated into two meals if you're really watching portion sizes. It's a bit dirty in the back area for the bathroom, and it seemed like this time the... A charming little place in downtown Portland. Very good standard thai food - we had fried calamari, tofu basil stir fry and seafood curry - all very good with large portions. What amazed me was the price- all this for $40 including tiip. Friendly service, a bustling place with a loft type second dining room. We were lucky to walk... More

Thai Peacock has outdoor seating during nice weather and 2 levels of seating indoors. Service is good. Their bubble tea is good. They have a decent wine list and good lunch specials. It can be a little loud and cramped, but it's got pretty good food. I like the drunken noodles and curry dishes.

Stopped by here for lunch with six family members in town for a wedding. The food was good and the drinks were better. We sat inside in their downstairs and it was an open air feel which was nice. They do have smaller tables outside and some upstairs seating. The service wasn't very friendly. Maybe the woman was having a... More

Tried this when we were running late and missed the chance to eat off one of the food trucks. The decor is fusion American/Thai and the atmosphere is relatively intimate so would be a great place for a romantic date. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly. The food was delicious and was better than most Thai restaurants we... More

I'm not sure if it's the effect of all the food trucks, but the restaurants we visited in Portland all seemed to have some good food. We had dined on food trucks the last few nights, so this last night in Portland we decided to sit down to eat, and I felt like Thai food... A little search around yielded... More

Of course, the meal is adapted to US taste, and I've been eating more authentic Thaï cuisine. But, nevertheless, it's worth to stop by the Thaï Peacock and have some good food. It was good and spicy as we like it. The special ice tea was a littler bit strange, but it's a matter of personal taste.

We eat at Thai Peacock at least once each time we are in Portland. It is located south of Burnside just outside the Pearl District, but it is an easy walk from almost every location in downtown Portland and the Pearl. We ate outside this time because the weather was very pleasant, but there were open tables inside also. Our... More

Very good quality seafood and a varied menu of preparations. Vegetarian options or meat if you want. So many standard Thai choices as well as unique dishes. A must try in downtown Portland

The food at Thai Peacock is truly excellent, and the low prices make it an amazing bargain. You can pay upwards of $10 for a Tom Yum soup at some Thai restaurants, but the tasty rendition offered here is just $4.25 (the "small" bowl was sufficiently large that at first I thought I had mistakenly been brought the "large" size)....
