After a gourmet meal at another Portland restaurant last night, we wanted something simple and tasty near our hotel. We used TravelAdvisor and decided on Thai Peacock: we were not disappointed. Excellent service and fresh, tasty food. It is definitely or our list of restaurants to re visit.

Made a spontaneous trip to Portland with my husband and came across this place and decided to stop. Really glad we made the decision. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, prompt and an absolute joy to work with. We ordered Curry and Thai Basil Chicken, and it is some of the most authentic we have found in the states. The... Thai Peacock is delicious! Hit them up for lunch definitely and you won't be disappointed. Good portions and good prices and fresh food! Had chicken curry, fried rice, spring rolls, and they were all yum! The only complaint is that our server was a bit unfriendly woman. Never cracked a smile and not very nice. Just basically took the order... More

There was a piece of plastic in my food!! When I showed it to the waitress she made up an excuss that it was from a plastic bag because my plate was under the bags when her collegue was busy with a take away. After that the bill was on our table: 1. we were not finished yet and 2.... More

I come to Portland twice a year and make sure to stop by here at least once every time I am in Portland. The pineapple fried rice is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. Oh and a side of peanut sauce is definitely worth trying!

we dropped in after shopping at Powell's. I ordered the #61 Pad Ma-Maung and my wife had the #20 (cabbage, onions tofu and glass noodles). The bottom floor was packed. Service was a bit slow, but not for others. Not sure why. But, the food was delicious and price, including two teas, was $22. Great find!

So yummy, so fast. Prices are decent too. My most recent dish was Evil Jungle Noodles--delicious. Portions are HUGE for dinner, so you'll have leftovers. Lunch portions smaller, but still could be separated into two meals if you're really watching portion sizes. It's a bit dirty in the back area for the bathroom, and it seemed like this time the... A charming little place in downtown Portland. Very good standard thai food - we had fried calamari, tofu basil stir fry and seafood curry - all very good with large portions. What amazed me was the price- all this for $40 including tiip. Friendly service, a bustling place with a loft type second dining room. We were lucky to walk... More

Thai Peacock has outdoor seating during nice weather and 2 levels of seating indoors. Service is good. Their bubble tea is good. They have a decent wine list and good lunch specials. It can be a little loud and cramped, but it's got pretty good food. I like the drunken noodles and curry dishes.
