We stayed at The Benson Hotel, and took a walk around the area with our dog to see what was available for dinner. The hotel prices were over the top. We found Saucebox by accident and how lucky for us. It was charming, good food, excellent service and a trendy little gem in the neighbourhood. We would definitely go back,... more

Great spot. The food is really good. This bar/restaurant/niteclub has been around for years. I make a regular stop every time I visit P-Town. more
The best thing about this place is the happy hour menu (Tuesday-Friday 4:30-6:30 pm, Saturday 5-6:30 pm) which has $1, $2, $3, $4, $5 options. One of the few places I've found that has my fave beer for cheap during happy hour (Blue Moon, $3). Food is great value but won't blow your mind (I've only tried the happy hour... more
The mai tai with pineapple infused rum is a must do. Only drink one, or maybe two. Do not go for the third. You will regret it SO much in the morning. This is based on experience. Appetizers here are delicious. By the time dinner came I was stuffed. Next time I would do drinks and small plates only. more
