Barbara, I'm so glad you had the chance to try out a few different things with us! To hear that everything was made to impress is music to my ears, and I hope it won't be long before we get the opportunity to serve up another round of sushi and spring rolls to you! When I have friends who want a Happy Hour after work with a great selection of food I recommend Sauce Box. If you get there early you can get a seat and have a fun experience. First off they have Taro Chips, which I love. Their $5 & $6 snacks are great with a good, varied selection.

Taking a moment after a long day to enjoy a drink with friends is what it's all about, Jeanie. I'm ecstatic that we could be that perfect place for a fun experience with friends. I hope you'll be back soon, whether it's for the snacks or the drinks. The taro chips await, Bruce Carey, Owner More

The decor is really cool and artsy, the food was tasty, but a little over priced. The menu had a variety of very unique plates. Portions are perfect as I was full but no food was wasted. My only issue was that the service was a little slow.

It's my first time in Portland and this is the most fun and delicious meal we have had with great drinks and a very attentive waitress and lovely small "tapas" starters and dishes. Great place for small groups looking for a nice ambience, fusion pan Asian food and great drinks including the sake.

I LOVE the drinks here! They are all very good and some are quite creative. My favorites are the Coconut lime ricky and the mango lime rickey. The service is always great and the ambiance in the bar area is perfect for date nights. They have a dj later in the night on the weekends and the music is always... More

I LOVE Saucebox. It's my favorite place to go in when we're in Portland. Amazing food, love the DJ, and the atmosphere. They have an extensive drink menu, their food and service is so good. We have been coming here for years, and I love that it's still Saucebox. They know exactly what works, you will not be disappointed.

Incredibly hip and inventive pan-Asian. Great mix of flavors. Go for the small plates and pass them around. Very festive. Extremely welcoming service. A true find.

My partner and I did our 12th anniversary and had the best service ever - thank you TIM! You were phenomenal. We loved the Kobe beef - do it, girl, and do not look back. Salt pillars never flatter. We had the pork cheeks as well which rocked the you know what. The pupu platter sent us crying to Mama.... More

The large selection of cocktails was nice. The food was very fresh and tasty, with a great combination of flavors. Service was attentive and fast. We really enjoyed all of the dishes and drinks that we tried, but it was on the pricey side.
