Extremely over-rated. On my last visit, the service was poor and the food was over-seasoned. The server couldn't remember what cheeses were on the cheese plate and was flustered at my requests for different seating. more

Food was mediocre at best. The service was fine, as was the decor. But conversation in the main dining room was nearly impossible due to high decible level. Wife and I wanted to have a nice desert and wine so we stopped by this restaurant. Many tables were empty, including those near the entry or "bar" section. We loved it...excellent food...everyone at our table from the vegetarian to the ones ordering a burger or meat based dish was happy. Nice atmosphere...very good service. Don't miss the desserts...we had blue cheese ice cream with figs and pecans... chocolate ice cream... all was good! more

Ate here 6/05. Very well prepared food using fresh ingredients in interesting preparations. This is not a meat and potatoes place, but has many fish, pasta and vegetarian selections. Service was friendly and attentive. Portions are generous and represent good value for the money. more

I ate in the bar side of Higgins on June 10. Dinner was terrific. The Alaskan Halibut came out piping hot but not overdone.
