Great cigar lounge and the food looked good too

There are not many places in Portland where you can smoke a cigar. This place has a great smoking lounge with full service. Industrial smoke handlers in the ceilings keep things nice. We had cigars drinks and desert. I can't wait until I'm in Portland again so I can try the steaks at this place.

If you like steaks or other cuts of beef, go here. The food quality, presentation, wine list are all superb. This place is expensive, but makes a great splurge restaurant. Very satisfying experience.

Great service, great food, great wine list. My No. 1 recommended resturant. Eaten there every time we are in Portland or Seattle.

I just had dinner at El Gaucho Portland OR and it was very good but way to expensive. I love blue cheese but I must say their Roquefort dressing was awful. The filet medallions oscar was excellent but $58 ala carte is over priced in my opinion. There was a lot of crab on top which was nice. The tables... More

So this was our choice for our last date night meal. Everything went great, The service, the quality of the drinks and apps. The food was out of this world. My steak was cooked to perfection, the Lobster was perfect. We did not visit the cigar room, but heard it was nice. The service was also great. Our server had... More

Wonderful cigar bar with great drinks and great service. The oysters on the half shell were tender, Ice cold and impeccably served. They made a very good table side Caesar salad, which quite good but not the best I have ever eaten. The sauteed spinach was well prepared but was overpowered by the lemon juice and garlic, which should have... More

For the past 10 years we have gone to this establishment on New's Year Eve. We looked forward to the atmosphere, the food, but most of all the great service by an experienced and educated staff. This year it was different. All of the "old timers" (those who had worked there for many years either left or retired. The change... More

In Portland, imagine my surprise to find a great steakhouse with a twist - one inspired by spanish and latin influences. The first thing you'll notice is the place has atmosphere and a loyal clientele. Our reservation was cut short by some clients who didn't show - and the restaurant didn't miss a beat - the reset our private room... More
