At lunch, there's not the long dinner wait. For lunch, I think it's a good value though pricier than a typical lunch. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is good and the atmosphere is very quaint.

We arrived at a packed Piazza Italia a little after seven on a weeknight without a reservation. All of the outside tables were taken, but we were able to be seated immediately at a table right by the bar, so close in fact that I was looking over my shoulder constantly when waiters came for drinks in fear that one... My family recently visited Oregon and ate at this restaurant as a walk in. It was so good that we went again at the end of our trip. We live in the NYC metropolitan area which has a lot of great Italian restaurants. We loved this one so much that I was compelled to write.

The food is really good and the prices are hard to beat. Our waiter did a great job and the people watching on the tables outside was quite something I took a client here and we were both impressed with how effortlessly the staff performed. The food service is not fast but definitely worth the wait..

I was here with a group of 10 people in July. Wonderful and helpful service. Menu selections from comfort Italian done right with fresh ingredients to gourmet specials that showcase the creativity and blend of flavors of the chef. It's a small spot with an atmosphere that can serve a romantic dinner for two as easily as a group of... More

Setting is that of a not-so-typical Italian trattoria. The restaurant had a certain charm to it. The food was excellent and the prices were quite reasonable. These factors contributed to a very pleasant dining experience.

We tried to get reservations here but for some reason the phone kept going straight to voice mail and said "don't leave a message for reservations." When we showed up, they said that there was a forty minute wait because we didn't have reservations, but they were able to seat us in about 15 minutes. The food was very good... More

We sat outside on a lovely spring night. The food was so delicious! Service was fast, though a bit on the cold side. The ambiance, with the accordion player who appears to have worked there forever, and the Italian speaking wait staff, was just the right touch to bring the whole meal together. I highly recommend the starciarella (sp?) pasta.... More

The food is just so perfect here! The staff is straight up Italian and they really know how to service the guests and serve up some good dishes. I love the Spaghetti Mare e Monti but I get it with the homemade parpardelle instead. So perfect! Another is Gino's favorite which is a really great carbonnara! The carafe of house... More

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant. The lasagna -- my go-to dish -- was as good as I can remember eating. The house wines -- extremely reasonable -- were wonderful. All the other members of our party were equally satisfied. The server, for such a busy place, was incredibly friendly and patient. The place is packed, and justifyingly so!
