Great Food in PDX

Huber's is one of the oldest restaurants in Portland. You don't get to be the oldest by making bad food. Went here with the boyfriend for Valentine's Day. This place was very busy, tons of people and lots of noise. We both ended up having the special that night, the Turkey Cordon Bleu. This was... read more

We first went to Huber’s by accident mid-week in Summer 2013. Up in Portland for business and not knowing the area, we ducked in simply to get out of the rain - it was late in the afternoon and we just ran into the nearest building. None of us had heard of Huber’s and it was terrific! The place has... More

They have the best turkey dinner in town, the best Spanish coffee presentation, and a great bar. I like the Old World style here, the food is reliable, service is excellent and attentive and it's a great location, downtown. Hubers is a Portland landmark location. If you only come for their Spanish coffee, it's worth the trip.

I visited Huber's in January 2015 for dinner. I had read online that they served the best food in town, and I can confidently agree! The food is outstanding. You have to try the Half and Half (half roast turkey and half baked ham, served with mash, broccoli, sweet gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing). It was delicious. The highlight of... More

Really good and was a great weekday lunch place. Even saw another group get Spanish coffees in the middle of the day. Quite entertaining.

Old fashioned in appearance, old style service and great food. It is an experience not to be missed.

Went here specifically for the Spanish Coffee since so many people recommended it. It's a quaint, old time bar, with a full service restaurant. They specialize in turkey dishes, but we didnt eat because we had already had dinner. Matthew, our bartender, was very impressive in making the Spanish Coffees. It's like a mini show! Just a cool place to... More

I selected Huber's as we have never had anything but an outstanding experience there. However, when you invite somebody, especially family, it seems to change...lol...the service was a bit lagging. Our meals were lukewarm. I did attempt to contact management to tell them about it, but, they responded with questions, which I immediately answered. I never heard back....I would suggest... More

There are lots of reasons to visit Hubers. It's one of the longest running restaurants in Portland, they cook their turkey in house, the food is great and ..........................SPANISH COFFEE'S. We have eaten here several times. Anything turkey--try it. I really enjoy the picatta and the quesadilla is good too. Happy hour is good with many selections--the BBQ turkey (like... More
