Wow--very impressed. The crew were so much fun, and talented. Thanks to all of you for the entertaining and tasty meal. We came here because of Portland Dining month and boy did we enjoy it. Sat at the counter and watched them hand make the pasta--doesn't get any fresher than that! Then we watched our dishes being prepared. Couldn't wait... More

I don't think we will go back. I didn't enjoy any of my dishes. The duck was dry. The crab tortellini had zero sauce which made it dry, too. The fig salad was weird. Both my husband and. Felt sick all evening fare eating dinner at Tabla. We do like the atmosphere but there are just too many good restaurants... More

Tabla is a great find. Small and quaint with a open kitchen preparing homemade pasta in front of you. The three course price fix for around $30 is amazing and what earned the five stars. The pastas are great, along with the appetizers. All small portions but high quality. The homemade gelato was great, caramel salted ice gelato, so good.... More

We stumbled across this place after leaving Bamboo Sushi which was overly crowded. Using Tripadvisor we walked a couple of blocks down and found this awesome little place. We tried the 3-course prix fixe dinner. Amazing quality for the value ($30!-this earned them an additional star). Homemade pasta was prepared from their clean open kitchen. Spectacular dessert - their homemade... More

Have enjoyed several dinners here and each one was delicious. Their prix fix is an unbelievable deal at $30 for three courses. Everything is fresh, local and prepared with a deft hand. It's a charming room with friendly, attentive service. Tablas is on my "go to" list every time I am in PDX!

This is a very nice restaurant. The food was good however the menu was on the small side. It is also outside the downtown area so parking is a little easier. The beef tenderloin was fantastic and is a must try.

My entree was good, yet my salad was a tad bland and needed a bit of "something" to stimulate the taste buds. Was pricey which is ok if it tastes like "wow" Overall "ok not fabulous"

Went here for the first time with friends who are regulars...we highly enjoyed it. We all did the 3 course tasting, where for $33 you can pick one salad, one appetizer, and one main course from the menu. The menu and wine list are not huge, but the items on both are creative and well thought out. The bartender is... More

Here's my simple and summed up review - great wine list, friendly and helpful service, amazing and super fresh and/or homemade food, and a very relaxed dining environment. The details - I was there for dinner with four other people. We all ordered appetizers and/or salads which were impressively fresh (locally grown produce) and creative. Then, we ordered five different... More

We made a special trip to Tabla when we were visiting Portland because a friend had advised us not to miss it. It was definitely worth the trip. The homemade pasta was sensational. The salads and the entrees were fabulous. The service was special. The restaurant is in a neat neighborhood on the east side of Portland that we probably... More
