Wonderful restaurant - - we orded one of the "feasts" and the food just kept coming! Even with drinks the bill for four was under thirty bucks and the locals that we dined with even had some leftovers. Like most of Portland the atmosphere and the services was laid back and thoughtful. Great restaurant. more

Came in last Saturday as a couple at 6pm and were seated in 15 mins. Wouldnt have been so easy as a larger party. Fast service, and nice waitress. Sane people, which can be a real complement, eh? Ya Hala is four blocks from my house, and the food is always phenomenal. What's not to love? The service. The people are nice, but in no hurry whatsoever, so I usually get take out. I've never been disappointed in their food! more
