I've been going to Cadillac every time I want a really wonderful breakfast/ brunch. The food is fresh and hand made with homemade touches like sausages, thick fluffy pancakes and Oregon jams and fruit. The french toast is excellent and covered in fresh fruits and high end maple syrup. Champagne and fresh squeezed oranges will lift your spirit. The salads... More

The food is fresh, and plentiful and the service has always been good. We enjoy the atmosphere and the comfortable seating as well.

If you are looking for early morning breakfast on the weekend in PDX, this is a great choice. The decor is nouveau art deco with a fireplace in the garden room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is varied-omelets, eggs and bacon, french toast. If you're looking for mimosas or a tap, et cetera (we weren't ), this... More

We had breakfast on a Saturday mid-morning. I ordered off the special menu, Chicken gravy & biscuits, eggs over medium. This dish was very good. They were busy that day but, we still had good service (coffee was a little slow). The prices are average $9 to $13 per entree. The restaurant is family friendly so bring babies to grand... More

We love coming to the Cadillac for breakfast. The french toast is so good that I find it hard to order anything else. My husband has had probably every omelet on the menu and has been very happy with his food. The wait staff are efficient, but not cloying, and the food arrives quickly, but we never feel rushed. We... More

I had never ridden Amtrak so I decided to do a daytrip to Portland (from Seattle) yesterday. The train deposited me in Portland 10 minutes early and I immediately seized the moment ...carpe diem as moments like these tend to be the exception than the rule with the federally subsidized rail service...yes..carpe Amtrak ...I celebrated ....and I was rather impressed... If you are in the northeast area of Portland, this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I had the best club sandwich ever there! Andy they had a great blueberry vinagrette salad dressing.

Great food & service. Salmon & eggs were cooked perfectly. Food allergies were graciously honored. Definitely will be back.
