Lovely Authentic Southern Italian

Despite living only a mile away for 12 years, we stumbled upon this place the other night. Very pleasantly surprised. Family owned nature shows up in the personal hands on service. I was in Portland for Business and we needed to find a place for lunch. We found Enzo's on the GPS and it turned out to be a great find. They were not open for lunch but the owner Enzo said he would prepare a dinner for us. We took him up and he made a pasta bolognese for us.... More

We met two couples here for a late lunch & the timing was perfect. The lunch crowd was gone which was good because we all tend to be a little on the noisy side. The buffet was looking a little tired by 2:30 so we ordered from the menu. The Salad Caprese with fresh mozzarella mounded in the middle could... More

We've enjoyed the lunch buffet on two recent Saturdays - excellent value. Both times there was a good variety of antipasti, main courses, pasta and salads. The first time there was fruit for a nice light dessert. The second time we unwittingly arrived just prior to the world cup finals, which were playing on several screens. Service was definitely strained... More

My friend and I ate here two times in a week and the food and service were wonderful. After the first visit the waiter asked if we could bring some fresh clams back from the coast which we did and from them a fantastic simple pasta diner ensured. The owner was away at the time and the waiter handled himself... More

We attended a special dinner at Enzo's where the food was served family style and the wine flowed. Enzo had his family members there and he made us all feel like part of his extended family. The music was charming and the food was terrific. We had a number of antipastos, including homemade mozzarella, bruschetta, meats and cheeses and lots... More

Sat outside on a beautiful Portland evening. If I didn't know I was in Oregon I might have thought I was in Italy. The food was good, the pizza was amazing. Sandra did a great job in helping us and making recommendations. A margherita pizza and a couple of glasses of Sangiovese and life doesn't get much better than that.

After a night out on Alberta Street, we passed by Enzo’s with his new patio out front. We had terrific tiramisus and cannolis along with a bottle of Prosecco. Enzo kept us laughing with his humor and by the end of the dessert we were invited to join him on his Christmas trip to his other home in Puglia, Italy.... More

We've been meaning to visit Enzo's, and we're glad we did. The homemade pasta and mozzarella were among the best we've ever had! The wine pours are very generous, and the service was just right -- attentive without going over the top. The restaurant is small, and it can be a bit loud. We ate outside on a summer evening,... Enjoyed Saturday afternoon lunch with my daughter who was home from college for spring break. We were walking along NE Alberta when we happened upon Enzo's. The asparagus and cheese frittata and penne pasta with pesto were superb. Serving size more than adequate. Spoke with both Enzo and his waiter who is recently transplanted in Portland from Israel. Delicious meal;... More
