Loved it! At first it was hard to figure out what to order because the menu isn't typical, there are lots of different kinds of foods and no pictures of the dishes. We were looking at everyone else's food. I ordered the beef soup which was very good and tasty. The won tons with melted cheese inside were wonderful, I... More

We ate here with our daughter who lives in NE Portland so it is not a local drop in for her. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. I had the sausage plate; it was excellent. My wife enjoyed the slow roasted chicken. It was worth the drive on a Sunday evening. (Might now... More

We had the slow roasted chicken and the butifarra. Both were generous portions with lovely flavors. The chicken tasted amazing and had a nice grilled, somewhat crispy texture on the outside (but it was skinless, and wasn't coated or fried). The potatoes were nice and crispy, and the quinoa salad refreshing. We also had fun trying all of their sauces.... More

we always love returning to las primas for lunch....i had a cristal lager, and my partner had the rum and cola cocktail...next, i had the pescado a la plancha and my partner had the naked peruvian sandwich...both came with salads, with real lettuce, thank goodness.....i emphasize real lettuce as opposed to arugula or kale that dominates most salads today...everything was... This place has a lot of potential. The food was good and the homemade sauces were nice but too much ketchup and not enough smiles. I'll give them another try

As soon as we walked in I had a funny feeling about this place. The staff is rude. And I felt some borderline racism, which is pretty rare in Portland. To top that, the food is just average! I don't care if the lady was having a bad day or what. I am not going back there to waste my... More

Unique type of food I've never previously experienced, served in a spacious, unpretentious, attractive setting. Terrific for a couple or a group -- but not a romantic evening. Everything we had was cooked perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful. We'll definitely return here. Order at the counter but served at table. Counter personnel delightful -- even allowed me to taste... More

The place is nice and well decorated. Kind of rustic. It is a zero service place: you chose out of the menu and receive a number. Keep costs down, I guess. I had a small salad (something from Costco), a juicy chicken empanada, a basket with my "lomo Saltado" sandwich and crunchy fries and one "churro" for dessert. For the... More
