Jasmine tea!

I stayed at the hostel across the street from this cafe and they supplied the hostel coffee each morning. The coffee was good. The last morning of my stay, I went to the cafe and was blown away by the Jasmine tea. I had not had tea like this since spending time in China. The manager told me about... read more

my common experience in us being milky lattes, i requested my latte with only half the milk. however, the barista, out of sheer habit filled milk to the top, realised what she had done and was about to make a fresh cup for me. luckily i stopped her and tasted the coffee - i would have gone to the moon... A little bit between here and there, World Cup Coffee is a sweet little corner coffee shop with great service and coffee drinks. Delicious pre-prepared sandwiches are a bonus if you're in a hurry. Indoor and outdoor seating options are great for dog walkers. I left a book in the restroom and hours later when I came to retrieve it,... More

I always have a difficult time deciding on where I want to settle down for a coffee or tea, especially in Portland. I cannot claim to have a very discerning taste in coffee, and while I feel I can differentiate between good and bad, I do not necessarily dislike any type of coffee bean/tea leafed concoction. That being said, I... More

This little coffee shop was larger than expected. They had a good variety of drinks for customers to pick from. There were also some books and games to entertain yourself and friends with during a relaxing afternoon. Coffee was good and didn't taste burnt or bitter. Their baristas also treated everyone like long time customers.

The coffee and staff here are both quite good. Over my stay, I had two different danishes, and they were also very good.

This was a stop on my pedal bike tour of Portland. I think we met the owner Dan who gave us a tour of the store including the roasting machines and how they process all those great coffee beans. It was very interesting and was ended with a cup of coffee. Awesome way to start the morning.

Conveniently located in NW Portland, with a lot of windows, fri Wi-Fi, free international sports on TV (just ask), fresh food and roasted coffee, cool crowd and a lot of foreigners (a hostel is across the street from here). It's a great coffeehouse. It runs a bit on pricy side.

The dark roast is always good as are their treats. Baristas are friendly and it's a bonus that it's in Powell's books. I didn't use it but there is free wifi too. I go there everytime I go to Portland.
