I'll join the many enthusiastic reviewers of this ice cream shop (Division Street). It was my first time to visit it. I came around 6:30 pm, and there was no wait. I had one scoop each of "sea salt & caramel" and "pear & blue cheese". Both were outstanding. To be honest, I tasted little of the blue cheese—just a... More

We ate our scoops at 838 NW 23rd Ave, Portland. Not to far off the I-5 going south. Lovely quaint neighborhood with little shops, and shaded street parking. The wait was minimal during a week day. Way more flavors than anticipated. I would have liked to sample a dozen but didn't think that was appropriate. My fiance and I shared... More

Line moved quick, weird flavor combinations, friendly staff. Tried 3 different flavors, was not impressed. The emperor has no clothes or good ice cream flavors.

This place is just plain hard to resist! Everything about their product, how they do business and their creativity are a thumbs up! When they have a gargantuan long line, I don't bother. But, if I am going by, and there's no line, I cave-in to the temptation...and am well rewarded. I usually indulge in a child-size portion. They always... More

7:30PM Saturday night:long lines at the 23rd Ave (Alphabet District) location, but they know how to move it fast! A friendly server gets samples for you to taste while you stand in line (what a great idea). I sampled the Summer Sweet Corn and something else. Ended up splitting a scoop (another great idea) of Oregon Peach & Walnut and... More

I love the concept; where they source their ingredients and how they use sustainable practices, and the creativity of their flavors (and that they serve raw Kombucha too!), but I wasn't impressed at the hype. The lines and amount of hype and the flavor just didn't add up to what everyone else made it seem like My ice cream wasn't... More

When I drove down Division for the first time at night, I saw the long line and thought-this must be a club. Nope, it's the local ice cream parlor. The lines actually move along fairly quickly, and so far every time, I had a fun little chat with the other people in line- mostly about what kind of flavors to... More

You might get discouraged when you see the line out the door and around the corner. The line does go by fast. From start to finish it took us 30 minutes. The ice cream is delicious. It doesn't have your typical flavors. The menu changes frequently. Tonight we had coffee and bourbon, sea salt with carmel and cinnamon snicker doodle.... More

We made the walk from downtown to the NW 23rd location, which is set in a very nice, rather eclectic neighborhood which is much less congested than downtown proper (and with a concomitant decrease in the hobo population). The restaurant serves numerous unique flavors of fresh ice cream along with sorbet, shakes and the like. The waffle cones are homemade.... More

We stopped here because of all the reviews and were not disappointed. Lines can get long, but the ice cream is unique so it was worth it to try the artfully created flavor combinations. They allow and encourage tasting as many of the flavors as you want (one of the reasons the line is long I think). They buy local... More
