Like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Tiger Woods Salt and Straw is in my opinion the Greatest Of All Time in the Ice cream category. My wife and Fell in love with this place and am finally glad they opened one in LA. After having this in Portland last year my wife have been craving it ever since. Hey owners!... More

I avoid dairy but made an exception here. Loved the salt caramel and was intrigued by the other inventive flavors too. Worth the wait!

Finally made it to salt and straw with some out of town guests who had read about it. I'm almost mad that they introduced me! The flavor combos are odd but they really work. One friend had the olive oil ice cream which was strangely delicious and smooth as silk. The other had a weird dumpling special that was served... More

Delicious ice cream and fresh waffle cones-what could be better for an outing with one's kids-even if they are all adults now?!

I enjoyed a great dessert of unique ice cream. Waited about 20 minutes in line all the way put on the street but in the end, it was well worth the wait. Especially like the two half scoops (2 flavors, one scoop).

Overpriced, just okay ice-cream. Great tourist stop, but not really a place we'd go out of our way to visit.

We ended up going twice to get ice cream, the first time I had the Arbequina Olive Oil ...simply heavenly the second visit I went for the Pear with Blue Cheese! wow! fantastic! What I really loved about the place apart from the friendly staff, great atmosphere, was the fact that you could sample a number of the flavors! Be... More

Really nice quality ice cream, I would recommend a visit. It is challenging to find parking and the lineup is intimidating but it's worth the effort.
