Awesome Happy Hour Menu and Wonderful Staff

The happy hour menu is amazing and the prices are even better. Everything I had was excellent. Splurge for the Fish House Truffle Frites with Dungeness Crab, they are worth it. The staff was attentive and friendly. Love this place. The regular menu is pricey, if the food is as good as what... read more

Their sister restaurant is known for their steaks, so when a non seafood person in our group ordered a steak.. He was greatly disappointed. Waiter boasted how top quality the steaks are.. He got an overdone steak nugget with a tablespoon of mashed potatoes for $41. The seafood was good. I guess you never order steak at a seafood restaurant... More

Ringside has a great ambiance and lots of choices. The first night we had a great waitress who gave us hints of what to do in Portland. We were also sharing oysters, salad and main course, and she split our dishes. The second waiter did not do this for us, but he provided good service.

Although on the expensive side, the food was good and the service excellent. We were served almost at the same time by more than one wait staff. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed and conducive to conversation.

Recommended by our hotel staff we were pleasantly surprised by the fine food, excellent bar and fine wine list. Wait-staff was friendly and professional. Recommended but not inexpensive.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience while traveling to Portland recently. I enjoyed an appetizer of crab cakes, a perfectly cooked (more well done at my request which I appreciated) steelhead trout filet with brussel sprouts and gnocchi -- and the dessert -- OH MY GOODNESS!! Yes, a little pricey -- but that's okay when the food is delicious,... More

This was a cozy venue for an after Blazer game drink and snack. Had Dungeness crab cocktail with Clam Chowder. Other great offerings! They had a neat guitar duo that didn't overwhelm. Choice of dining in the restaurant or the bar lounge. Got there after 10 pm - right downtown and easy park at that hour.

I wanted fresh salmon and heard this restaurant was one of the best fish restaurants in Portland. My boyfriend and I found that to be true. It's an elegant establishment, the service was responsive and the food exquisite and delicious. My boyfriend had Filet Mignon which was so tender you could cut it with a fork and it was seasoned... We thought we were in for a great dinner since AAA & our hotel concierge recommended it so highly. Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't full. We both ordered the $41 filet steak after a dozen oysters & splitting a salad. The plate arrived with a small steak appearing by color to be cooked to death and dry... More

Went with a group of 9 and they accommodated us easily. Service was very attentive. Almost overly so. They cleared the appetizer plates while there were still appetizers on the table, even though the main meals didn't come for some time after. The onion rings were a big hit. I had the steak salad, which was very good. Flavorful steak.... More
