Although we had dinner reservations we arrived early and sat in the bar and never left. We cancelled our dinner reservations and Krista helped us eat and drink our way through the happy hour menu. And it was awesome. If you want to try many different things sit in the bar for happy hour.

Fresh, delicious oysters every time. If I lived in PDX, and could eat here everyday, I would. Every meal has been amazing. Good service, best food.

What's good: seafood very fresh, stellar razor clams, not-too-heavy lobster bisque - Overall, nice menu selection, calming and upscale atmosphere, fine-dining service amenities including splitting dishes, folding napkins when the guest steps away, great view of the park, a downtown location that feels like it. Very good choice for a business dinner. The guys who developed this place are clearly pros.... More

Did the chef miss class the day they were teaching the fine art of making Seafood Cioppino????? Cioppino is a type of seafood stew with herbs, sun dried stewed tomatos and many other spices. NOT SEAFOOD COOKED IN TOMATO BISQUE SOUP. Chef needs to take a road trip to Lincoln City and experience Blackfish Cafe's Cioppino and realize how he... More

I need to preface my review. The food had the potential to be very good, but the atmosphere was a bit pretentious. The Menue had a nice selection of Oyster, seafood, and alternate items. Everything comming out of the kitchen was very nicely presented and smelled great. Our complaint was with our waitress who was somewhat rude, and unattentive. There... More

I went for lunch last Friday with a group of Foodie Friends, providing me the opportunity to sample several selections from their lunch menu. Portions were perfect and prices reasonable for the quality of the food, which was fresh, creative, and delicious. We started with fried Calamari, which was mixed with thin sliced lemon and fennel as I have seen... More

My honey and I ate here tonight and we were both very pleased with our salads and our meals. I had the Ono filet and my friend had the Steelhead which was fabulous. We also had the Meyer lemon cheese cake. Service was spot on.

Portland is a foodie haven. The fresh fish was perfectly prepared--I had steelhead that melted in my mouth. The Oregon wine was great. The restaurant sits above Pioneer Square and a view that is lovely, the service impeccable, the food delicious. What more can you ask for!
