Wonderful, Fantastic Pacific Seafood!

Had the cold seafood platter that was recommended by my waiter. Came with oysters, prawns, mussels, clams, crab legs and smoked salmon. Truly some of the best seafood I have ever eaten. Fantastic atmosphere and service. Would love to return!

What a nice bar with great selections for Happy Hour right in the heart of downtown Portland. The oysters were so fresh and lovely, fish tacos were awesome crunchy with fresh cabbage. The peel and eat shrimp came out hot and seasoned with Old Bay so scrumptious and the service was outstanding. This is a definite place that I will... More

Food was as advertised very delicious but def pricey. Atmosphere was elegant and staff was very accomodating. Window views to the square below were beautiful. Recommend new england clam chowder which was excellent.

My wife and I had tried Ringside Steak House before but we had not been to the Fish House. The restaurant has a rather relaxed and informal atmosphere. The dinner menu is rather simple but contains sufficient number of appetizers, seafood, and steaks options. By contrast, the wine menu is rather extensive and has a wide variety of overpriced domestic... More

Best food, best service overall. I have been looking for a great Caesar salad for several years. This is the best. The main courses of Sole Meuniere and Rock Fish (pricey at $39) were cooked precisely and served hot and very well presented. Finished off with a share Creme Brulee that was perfect.

We decided in Ringside Fish House after much discussion and everyone voted seafood. We had split two salads that were delicious, Ceasers and Spinich with blue cheese. Both were delicious! Entrees were selected with four different choices: grilled steelhead, seared scallops with butte nut squash risotto, red coconut curry on rockfish and finally my choice of grilled swordfish. We shared... More

So disappointing. We had reservations at 6:45 because 3 of our group of 13 had flights needing to leave by 8:30. It took forever to get drinks, appetizers and order. By 8:15 we had not been served, despite telling them multiple times we had people who needed to leave. We had over and underdone meats. I had the $42 prime... More

I went for happy hour, which has some good deals. Food was solid, but nothing that blew me away. Oyster selection was quite broad though.

What a great place in downtown Portland, in the Fox Tower to meet friends on a Friday for drinks. Happy hour starts at 3pm, and considering the upscale feel they have very reasonably priced happy hour items. The had a good selection of beers on tap as well. Great service and a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Although we had dinner reservations we arrived early and sat in the bar and never left. We cancelled our dinner reservations and Krista helped us eat and drink our way through the happy hour menu. And it was awesome. If you want to try many different things sit in the bar for happy hour.
