Had a wonderful business dinner with colleagues in this quaint yet energetic creative restaurant. Very eclectic menu of locally grown products. Notable wine list. Outstanding staff. We had burgers, the fish special and fried chicken coq au vin...all top notch cuisine. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Can't take credit for the choice but wish I could! The decor was a retro Enviornment.with has a pressed metal ceiling and French bistro feeling. There is balcony seating as well. The service was attentive and friendly. I wasn't too too hungry so I had a cup of cream tomato soups, the selection for the evening. It was perfect. Then... More

Amazing food in a beautiful space. Our first night in Portland and it was the perfect start to the weekend. Beautifully crafted food and excellent service. Very quiet atmosphere for those who find restaurants noisy. Intimate and special. Highly recommended it.

This was an unplanned walk in, and this place delivered some wonderful food. We sat outside and it got a little windy, and since we were the only ones outside the waiters were not exactly overcrowding us.

We tried making dinner reservations for a party of six at this restaurant for two nights in a row, but we were unsuccesful. The third time we were able to get a table after 9 p.m., for which we were very grateful. It was definitely worth trying several times to visit this restaurant. Between the "Steak Tartare" and the "Pomme... More

I carefully researched our upcoming brief stay in Portland, a city we had long wanted to visit. I read dazzling reviews of Little Bird Bistro, the little sister/brother of the fine French restaurant Le Pigeon, and high praise for its exec chef, Gabriel Rucker. We were not disappointed. We made reservations about a week in advance, and our table was... More

We absolutely loved our dinner. We shared their special appetizer of heirloom tomatoes and ricotta and their special seasoning. It was wonderful. Very flavorful. For dinner we had a cedar planked King Salmon which was great but our Coq Au Vin chicken, which is a pretty regular menu event was fabulous. Our server was great and the ambiance was worth... More

Stopped by last minute on a recent trip to Portland (first time there). No availability that night at their sister restaurant, LePigeon so we took a chance to see if we could get a seat here. Fortunately, there was just enough room for two more! Fun atmosphere, local vibe, and friendly service. We enjoyed some great traditional French food along... More

Ate in Little Bird one evening and returned the next night because it was so good and to try additional menu items. Wonderful!
