Really Good Service and great food

Very interesting and varied menu. Service was top notch - attentive but not in my face. comprehensive wine selection by the glass, albeit a little too pricey ($10-$17).

We were there in May 2014 on rec from a friend...absolutely fabulous evening!!! Pretty close to the best raw oysters I've ever had!!! And the gruyere souffle was to die for!! My husband's crusted fish w/ radish & cabbage slaw was to die for...perfect evening at a lovely "bistro" type restaurant.

When we heard Gabriel Rucker was back at little bird we quickly made dinner reservations. This was one of the best dinners I have ever had. In some ways it was even better than let pigeon. Incredible food and terrific service. I think this is my favorite restaurant.

I'd read about this place and it lived up to the hype. We stopped in to have a selection of apps and wine after spending the afternoon at a few breweries. We entrusted the evening to our server, who recommended the cheese board, an escarole salad, and the moules. Every bite of every dish was transformative. The salad was the... More

The service was wonderful in this casual and friendly downtown bistro. The restaurant is a bit noisy and very busy, even on a Thurs at 7:00 PM. The food is creative and well prepared, but the menu is quite limited. The wine, beer, cider and liquor menu is very good. The chef specializes in rather rich French specialties. They chef... More

Had a wonderful business dinner with colleagues in this quaint yet energetic creative restaurant. Very eclectic menu of locally grown products. Notable wine list. Outstanding staff. We had burgers, the fish special and fried chicken coq au vin...all top notch cuisine. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Can't take credit for the choice but wish I could! The decor was a retro Enviornment.with has a pressed metal ceiling and French bistro feeling. There is balcony seating as well. The service was attentive and friendly. I wasn't too too hungry so I had a cup of cream tomato soups, the selection for the evening. It was perfect. Then... More

Amazing food in a beautiful space. Our first night in Portland and it was the perfect start to the weekend. Beautifully crafted food and excellent service. Very quiet atmosphere for those who find restaurants noisy. Intimate and special. Highly recommended it.

This was an unplanned walk in, and this place delivered some wonderful food. We sat outside and it got a little windy, and since we were the only ones outside the waiters were not exactly overcrowding us.

We tried making dinner reservations for a party of six at this restaurant for two nights in a row, but we were unsuccesful. The third time we were able to get a table after 9 p.m., for which we were very grateful. It was definitely worth trying several times to visit this restaurant. Between the "Steak Tartare" and the "Pomme... More
