We dined here with our 2 kids (ages 8 and 6) and had a great meal. The food was delicious, they didn't roll their eyes when we showed up with little ones. It's not the most diverse menu but we all found something really tasty and the service was top notch.

The food was remarkable and the service was warm friendly and sincere. I has the burger and she had the lamb t-bone. Nothing short of amazing. Be sure you get upstairs and you have Suzanne as you delightful server. Also, make a reservation.

Let me start by saying that Le Pigeon, Gabe's restaurant, is my favorite place in Portland. So when I decided to come to Little Bird, a place where he is part owner, I had very high expectations. Unfortunately, I ate lunch here and was not really that impressed by anything including the decor. We ordered a few appetizers, two entrees... More

The restaurant looks perfectly quirky walking in we thought we would have a great meal. We were wrong. Portland has too many good restaurants to choose this one, the problem was we did not do a thorough job with our on line research, which was our fault. We saw good ratings but didn't dig deep enough.

I had the pleasure of dining on Little Bird's tasting menu recently, and it was simply divine. For a set price, you get three courses, a cheese plate and a dessert. My, oh my, it was so good. The service was impeccable and the courses were served and described by a very knowledgeable waitstaff who have an obvious passion for... More

We made a last minute decision to celebrate our anniversary at Little Bird and walked in before 6pm on a Tuesday. The experience was serendipitously delightful. We started with the charcuterie board which tickled our savory salty palates. The pork belly was a standout for me. Then came a fresh green salad which cleansed our palates nicely in preparation for... More

For our anniversary we reserved a table at the Little Bird. Wonderful atmosphere, decor and friendly staff (not stuffy like some restaurants). We had the $65 tasting menu with the $30 wine pairing. Each dish was wonderful. So intricate with great presentation. We love to cook but would not have the skill/patience to replicate the dishes, except for the cassoulet,... More

We had a great meal here. The menu include a reasonably priced tasting menu which with hindsight we probably should have gone for. We had a wonderful cassoulet and simple salad but left feeling very full. The wine is on the expensive side but a good list. Service was attentive but not over bearing.

First and foremost, if you have an option to sit upstairs versus downstairs, take the downstairs. We were upstairs and it was really warm. The other downside to being upstairs was services was SLOW. Granted our waitress wasn't the best. We ordered a bottle of wine. She took an app. order and then went downstairs. We waited, and waited, and... More

1)Very cozy, french bistro in PDX. 2)Everything farm to table, ingredients focused. 3)Nothing fancy, down to earth french mama's cooking. 4)Pork belly, Rabbit feast for two and yes, their desserts are superb. 5)Good Wine selections, a plus.
