I was in Portland staying at the Benson hotel. I asked the concierge for a restaurant and was walking to their recommendation, when I walked past Little Bird, I looked in the window and fell in love. The oysters appetizer was so tasty. They had two types to choose from, a sweeter oyster and a saltier oyster. (I tried the... More

I chose a cup of delicious celery root soup followed by crispy Rabbit. I've always loved rabbit since catching them in England as a kid. The crispy rabbit was a very tasty leg. The portion sizes were perfect. A healthy filling size. Our meals were accompanied with ideal local wine.

Little Bird Bistro is an inventive and excellent restaurant. I ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi and the Rabbit and was completely satisfied with both. The bartender was great and helped me through a selection of wines. And the crowd at the bar was cool - a collection of foodies and delinquents. This is my kind of place.

I wish I could give this place an excellent because most of our food was really good, the drinks perfect, wine great. Hostess was very welcoming and seemed glad to see us. The service started out well, but as the place got more crowded our waiter forgot us, and we felt a little rushed at the end of the meal... More

Had lunch here with some coworkers/colleagues while attending a work conference in Portland. We'd heard fabulous things about their sister restaurant Le Pigeon, so we decided to give it a whirl! All 6 of us had the burger and fries..OMG..so good!! Even the ketchup was especially good! The atmosphere and decor were so quaint and comfortable! Everything I'd want a... More

A lively atmosphere, delicious food, and very friendly service make this a nice choice for dinner in downtown Portland. Good selection of wines by the glass with good choices from France as well as local Willamette Valley wineries. Tuna appetizer was outstanding. Lamb chops were decadently rich.

My first disclaimer is I am not a fan of French food. My wife picked this place. It was only fair, I picked the hotel. Anyway, I survived. The food was pretty good. Although, I think my stomach was slightly mad at me afterwards. The portions seem small. I did not enjoy sitting on the hard and awkward wood chair.... More

The food was great as was the service. Close to French food and well worth the visit, one of the best in Portland.

Of our party of five, the food verdict was: tough lamb (2), tough steak (2), excellent rabbit (1). Appetizer courses were very good. The steak for two was immense, almost embarrassingly so, and quite difficult to carve up. The waitstaff should offer to do so. The restaurant has an interesting wine menu with many French bottles, as well as NW... More
