My cousin is a cookie hound, so we stopped by here after Lan Su Chinese Garden, on the way to Lardo. Pearl Bakery is in the Pearl District of DT Portland on NW 9th Ave and Couch. In addition to cookies, PB offers cinnamon rolls, macarons, and full breakfast & lunch. Not surprisingly, they bake their own bread on the... More

This is clearly the best bakery in the Portland metro area. The baguette is our favorite. The ideal place if you want a great loaf of bread. It is our go to bakery.

Every time we're in town we have to stop here. Almond croissant, gibassier, walnut bread, volkornbrot are all amazing. Can't wait to try more

I've been to Pearl Bakery in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon a few times now and each time I could not get enough! Their sandwiches are absolutely awesome....I've tried the eggplant sandwich, the roast beef, the turkey with cheese and a couple of others and each one of them was really, really tasty! The sandwiches come on artisan bread,... More

Pearl's is a popular lunch spot a block away from Powell's Book Store. It has interesting sandwiches, great fresh pastries and good coffee, and friendly staff.

This is good stuff, maybe the best in town. Traditional baked goods with a french slant, sandwiches and salads for lunch, and house-made fine chocolates were recently added to the menu. Plus, the Pearl serves Batdorf & Bronson Coffee, which is outstanding (I've always wished it was home-based in Portland so it would be more available). Seems as if the... More

Pearl Bakery is close, convenient, well-stocked with all sorts of breakfast pastries and goodies, and has helpful and patient counter servers and baristas. They serve gluten-free and seem to care about it. Coffee (in all sorts of sizes, shapes, colors, and combinations) is readily available. Seating inside can be at a premium, but it is worth the wait to nosh... More

Heard this bakery was amazing and had to check it out myself! Stopped for coffee and a pastry! Oh my gosh the chocolate croissants were so good! People next to us ordered sandwich's which also looked amazing! Take some time in the afternoon to stop by here, relax, and have a treat! Definitely worth it!

Happened upon this bakery whilst walking around the Pearl District and it's a gem if you like artisan breads. Definitely worth a visit for the sandwiches and croissants.

We went there for breakfast and oh it was so good. When you enter the bakery you get taken away by the design and then you see all those delicious treats which makes it difficult to choose from. The staff is friendly, the coffee good, the prices low and the baked treats are just delicious. We had keizers rolls and... More
