Everything, absolutely everything was great

You don't find this restaurant by accident so be sure to have a map. But OMG you will be glad you went. It is hardly a secret so reservations are recommended but there are seats at the bar which offer quite an entertaining view of the food preparation. Stay away! Rasists waitresses! They gave us dirty looks, never came once to check up on us, we were thirsty and no one ever came to ask us for water- but the tables next to us were treated politely and nicely. This place deserves to be shut down! Do not enter here if you are a minority! Left there with... More

settle in to some small plates or entrees. Order set boards of cheeses and cured meats, or go with the chef's selection, which we did mostly out of curiosity. Cheeses were very tasty, brie was great, meats had a lot of flavor, some spicy, one pate' no one liked. Apple salad was superb. Entrees chosen were italian sausage, pot roast... More

Great place for cheese, wine and cured meats. Start with the boards and a local wine; they are pretty good.

Ate here on Sunday with my sisters as our last stop in town. Had the classic ham benny - so good! Portion was generous and could barely finish as it also came with a big helping of laser cut potato. Definitely the best brunch i've had in a while. SE Washington location is small and busy - great atmosphere and... More

Bar chairs not comfortable, and that's what they gave me as solo diner. Chicken was quite good and served with very interesting (and good) bread pudding, shrooms, etc. Could have used more herbs for my taste, but it was perfectly good. Nice chef, whereas the waitress was a bit hauty. Limited menu in breadth. I'd go back. Some people casual,... More

We stopped off here and had there eggs benedict and charcuterie plate and I only ordered my cured meats from this place until I went to italy. This place makes some amazing food the way around. I order meats from their online store close to every month for gifts, entertaining snacks, or just for me to enjoy while being a... More

Interesting cocktail menu and wine selection. Delicious meat boards and sandwiches. Small, intimate setting. Be prepared for a little wait during peak times.

We were a group of ten people looking for variety - some of us are vegertarian and others meat eaters. We came for a birthday celebration and started with different appetizers including meat and cheese platters, CHEF’S CHOICE (Chef’s selection of five meats, pickled vegetables, grain mustard) and CHEF’S CHEESE BOARD (Chef’s selection of three cheeses) as well as FRIED...
