Another wonderful meal out with my hubby--we took advantage of a "two-fer" on prime rib. So good. We have several steak houses in town, and have eaten at all of the. My husband thinks this meal shot to the top of the list. Cooked to perfection, real horseradish. Whipped garlic mash for a side (included). Tried the caesar salad, loved... More

We ordered a Greek salad, bruschetta and a wedge salad. Bruschetta was ok..Greek salad left out the kalamata olives. Took 15 minutes to get waitress back to table. When we asked about the olives she had no idea they were to Bo on salad. Went to kitchen and returned 10 minutes later and said they were out of olives. I... More

I was wrapping up a day in Portland and was staying at the Embassy Suites, where this restaurant is located, and decided to go in for dinner. The service was very good, quick and attentive, but they were out of quite a few items (to be fair, it was later in the evening than the normal dinner rush, and a... More

We stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with the atmosphere, the food was very good and they got our lunch to us quite quickly, which is important at lunch time. We ate in the bar area where we could watch some golf and people watch on the street. We would recommend this restaurant

After reading reviews of Portland Prime we did not know what to expect from our Groupon selection. The restaurant atmosphere is a classic steak restaurant with lots of dark wood and glass. White tablecloths on the tables and the waitstaff in long sleeve white shirts with small black bow ties. My wife had the rib eye which was cooked and... More

We decided to splurge and eat here on our first night in downtown Portland. The restaurant is connected to the Embassy Suites hotel, where we may stay if we return since it’s a Hilton brand hotel. Everyone was very nice, but the first table was too narrow for us so we moved to a table with more room. Our waitress,... More

I visit this restaurant often and am, frankly, amazed there are any vacant tables. Their steaks, seafood, salads, and especially soups are as good or nearly as good as any in town. However, the service is much better than most, and you can always get a table without a wait (except maybe when live music is playing). Also has one... More

Food is below average with poor meat selections and not at all what you should expect from a truly 28-day dry aged beef. Cuts are too thin and excessive marble makes for a chewy meat with little flavor save the juicy gravy they pour on it. Offered several potato choices which are extra. Server recommended the whipped over all others... More

While staying at the Embassy Suites we decided to dine here for a special birthday dinner; and we were so glad we did! Friendly service and attractive atmosphere! We split the chopped salad which was very ample. Our entrees were chicken marsala and the braised short ribs...both were excellent. Our server brought out a very delicious bread pudding as a... More
