Great Experience

As we walked through the door I noticed the months theme written on a chalkboard.......... Chocolate The long set of stairs leads you to the bar area. It is a large open space and open to some of the pool tables. It is a large space but feels intimate due to the subdued lighting. We were... read more

We found this place to be just OK. To start with, the stairs to enter the place are drab and dirty - kind of a funky musty smell. When you enter the establishment you enter the bar area and we were greeted by a nice young lady who showed us to an empty dining room. We did show up on... More

As good of a happy hour deal as JAKES without the crowds. The happy hour food menu at 6 pm sharp. Pates, fresh bread, salads, pork belly wraps, all yummy and all half price. They also knock a couple of bucks off the beer wine and mixed drinks until 6:30, sharp. The place is super cool and different, with a... More

If you're in the area, can be a fun way to hang out for a few hours by playing a little pool and having a libation. Food is ok, nothing crazy good or anything though, but decent enough if you're hungry. We have had some group events here where fake gambling tables were brought in, and then it's a fun... More

Go to Uptown for happy hour. Being from out of town and on foot, we were directed by our hotel to 23rd Street for multiple choices. We chanced upon the Uptown Billiards Club. Not being billiard players or club members never dissuaded 2 intrepid widows! We knew of Portland 's reputation for good and reasonable food as a lure to... More

I had heard good things about the this place and wanted to eat here and look at it as a venue for a birthday event. We arrived early for our reservation and pretty much no one was there. It has a nice looking bar and lots of low lighting and dark wood. We were seated kind of off the bar.... More

We had a great night here recently playing billiards with a group, food was terrific, atmosphere was great, it looks a little dodgy from the outside but go up the stairs and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have been going to the Uptown Billiards Club since they opened - at first it was just for pool and beer (and the free casino nights when they hosted them) but started to go for food when the 5 course pairings started. I've only missed 1 so far and have been very satisfied every time. With 1 common theme for... More

It's a. But far from downtown but this swanky billiards joint was worth the trip. The 5 course tasting menu was outstanding. We paired with wine and loved the experience.

I've been going to Uptown Billiards since the conception of the 5 Course dinner. Although the prices have significantly gone up over the years, the meals are amazing. I've never had one I didn't enjoy. The themed courses are magnificent and the wine pairing are fantastic. Roxanne is a rock-star waitress whom we've had almost every time.
