A wonderful place for excellent seafood in Portland. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and service minded staff. We want to come back to sample more of the menu.

The menu at Cabezon changes weekly, if not everyday. The seafood is fresh and the suace that was on my fish was fabulous. I hade the skate wing which I have never had before and loved it. Co-workers had sand dobs, which I have never heard of before, being from Chicago, but they really enjoyed them. They kind of looked... More

Overnighting near the airport? Treat yourselves to a Cabezon dinner, mostly fish, all fresh. Small, it's all about the food. Come as you are sophisticated clientele. Wonderful ciopino. My wife tries different dishes, all excellent. Good wines by the glass. My martini always arrives very cold. Entrees mostly low to mid $20s. Salads plentiful, v good. Excellent service. Why haven't... More

Every once and a while you find that exceptional restaurant off the beaten path. I was ready to tackle a half hour trip from center city to try it out. Matt & Josh made sure it was worth my while. They created incredible food from the amazing blinis to the haddock with polenta, and a creme brûlée to finish off... More

This is a great local place. The staff went out of thier way to make my experience amazing. The food was excellent. I had the Cioppino which is the only regular menu item but the other 5-6 items sounded just as good. Even the bread and butter was excellent! Parking is all side streets so you may have to walk... Fresh, fresh fresh delicious food. Everything we had was spiced and cooked perfectly. My husband had the razor clams appetizer & he couldn't rave enough about how tender they were. From cioppino to steak we all loved our entrees. This definitely moves to the top of our list of must return to restaurants.

We had some delicious, fresh, thin slices of salmon with crunchy bread as an appetizer since we had already decided on having meat as the entree instead of seafood. I had a steak that was cooked perfectly medium and had a sauce that complimented it nicely. Although it seemed like most of the people around us all ordered the Cippino... More

We read other reviews and had this earmarked as a place to try, only to discover it was a mere 4 blocks from my sons home. The service was prompt and friendly, the environment warm and inviting, great glass jelly fish lamps. I had the Oregon Rockfish - prepared perfectly! Bouillabaisse was also a winner - wonderful flavors, tender fish.... More

It appears much has already been written about this restaurant and all or most is true. From the great service to the food preparation, it is another great restaurant that the people of Portland can claim as their own. The seafood dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients and the desserts are great. This is not a large restaurant so reservations... More

Outward appearances may be deceiving. Cabazon appears to be an unassuming neighborhood place. It is, in fact, a top notch choice. Only the freshest ingredients are served. The menu changes nightly...maybe hourly as the chef sells out a dish or two. All are skillfully prepared and seasoned perfectly. Wonderful service and cozy atmosphere. A "find" on Portland's East Side.
