AMAZING is the only word I need to use the describe this place. The Chef is spot on and the food quality here is a notch above anything else I've had in a long time. The seafood is fresh, mostly local stuff, and the presentation of the food is fantastic. Would definitely return again. The menu is smaller, so don't... More

Truly a wondrous experience. Particularly enhanced by our waitress, Jen. Unique flavors. The lamb dish was a Moroccan delight. The fish cooked to perfection on a bed of yumminess. Shared almond cake dessert and ice cream sandwiches- stunning! What a find!

I was looking for a restaurant to take my wife to dinner for her birthday. I always look at trip advisor for reviews. I decided to go to Cabezon. Small restaurant, nice inside. You can see the cooking if you sit at the bar. Michelle, our waitress was attentive, good attitude, great. Food: I ordered sturgeon, never had it, with... More

We went to Cabezon for dinner. The food was nothing special. I'm not a proponent of huge portions, but theirs were pretty small, though fancifully prepared. Deserts were total disappointment. The prices were pretty steep, especially considering the location.

Visiting in Portland, were invited to Cabezon by local friends. Snarfed up 2 dozen oysters in 10 minutes, maybe 15, as we settled into dinner. It's warm in the place, so was happy to be sitting near the door for a breeze. Had my first ever sand dabs and they were delish. Others had bouillabaisse, salmon, and a version of... More

The wait staff was very friendly and had many recommendations for indecisive people like us. We decided on a salmon starter with a side of oysters- all awesome. Our entrees were mac and cheese, cabezon, cioppino, and rack of lamb. Every dish was perfect, not a crumb or spot remained. The only complaint that i have is that the portions... More

What a great restaurant find! Unassuming, friendly, delicious food and drink, great service, quiet enough for a conversation and crowded enough to be successful, but still accessible for reservations on most nights. Highly recommended as a place for a quiet dinner, a meal with friends or family, and even kids like it!

Stopped in for a quick bite, and boy am I glad I did! The monkfish was excellent, the pot du creme decadent, and the service was friendly and efficient. I would not recommend Cabezon to a family with small children. The staff would accommodate you happily, but the price point and complexity of tastes makes it much more of a... More

We arrived with a reservation and were seated immediately. It smelled fantastic. The bar was full and there was a nice "din" of activity. Just enough ambient noise to make it seem Alice but not too much to distract. The menu is small and varied. Everything looked interesting. I wanted to try many things. The salads were nice. My wife... More
