Went here with our daughter and son-in-law our first night in Portland. Cioppini was delicious, and a nice wine list.

I regret that I have been to Cabezon only once but our friends who took us here go regularly and highly endorse this place. We shared the paté and basil wrapped shrimp and for mains we had the cioppini, black cod and lamb. Everything was perfectly prepared and the entrees were generously portioned. Personally, I'm glad i didn't get the... More

First off, the ambiance is wonderful with hand blown jellyfish chandeliers everywhere, you can watch the chef cook from the bar. Their specialty drinks are carefully thought out and the wine list and our server was very knowledgeable which we so appreciated. Amazing desserts! Parking is a little tough due to it being in a residential neighborhood, but so worth... More

I enjoyed a Mother's Day meal at Cabezon last week with my family. The setting is relaxed, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The meal started with the blini and trout roe. Skip that dish. It's not a dish to share as it consists of 2 quarter-sized blini top with creme fraiche and roe. No taste, no volume, no reason to... More

A simple setting restaurant but one of the best dishes we had for a while. Menu changes daily to reflect actual catches (yes we ate there more than once), oyster selection was great and a good wine selection. Dishes were really delicious, taste, optic and composition. Can only highly recommend. Parking near the restaurant might be a challenge

This is a great restaurant for seafood as well as meat dishes. I went with friends. One ordered the steak; his wife ordered lamb. They both loved their choices. I chose the petrale sole. It was well prepared. The sides were not as wonderful, but not awful. We started with appetizers, fries and garlic aioli and the artisan cheese plate... More

On our annual trip to Portland to visit our daughter, my wife and I wanted to eat at a seafood restaurant. After looking at reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to go to Cabezon. It is a little ways from downtown but it didn't take too long to get there. My wife ordered the salmon special and I ordered the black... More

I am on the lookout for some good cioppino in Portland. I was told to try Cabezon's Cioppino and I was not disappointed. The base had a great flavor and the fish was fresh tasting. The only thing I would recommend is adding more of the cripsy bread; Cioppino to me is all about dipping the bread in the soup... More

You know when you arrive a little ahead opening time and folks are lined up for the door to open, that this is a popular place to dine. It was that we have not eating here on festive days, but it confirmed others agreed with our choice. From the start to finish the service was right on. We had the... More
