Don't do as we did - drive miles to get here, then find it's closed until the end of September!! Looks like a nice place though, so will try again if/when we're next in the area.

If you want to relax and eat great food here's the place to be. Would recommend the goulash with the hash brown and escargot :) don't forget the onion soup. Fantastic service! Would definitely come here again! Too bad the only coffee they had was French press... Some like it but not really a fan of it.

My girlfriend recommend this restaurant, and we were delighted. Price is reasonable, great service and excellent food. We were lucky enough to go on a night when owner Jenny's parents were helping out from Hawaii where they had a restaurant. Dad is Swiss and mom Hawaiian. A nice little neighborhood gem!

If you love German food, don't miss this place. Everything was home made, and the spaetzle was delicious. The pork Wiener schnitzel and goulash were to die for--we were all practically licking our plates. And the salad dressing--which they make on site--was unique and fabulous. There are only five tables inside and three outside--they had a sign posted that they... More

Between the seven of us we ordered almost every variety on the menu. We were in agreement that it was some of the best food we had eaten on our long trip. We were too busy eating to take pictures :)

We were seated right away for a weekday lunch. We ordered escargot, wurst salad, osso bucco, salmon, and goulash. Free hot French bread with 2 dipping sauces (Martin dressing, and Martin dressing with Sriracha) was wonderful. Escargot was perfectly garlicky and buttery. The friendly server brought more French bread for us to mop up all the residual sauce after we... More

My Dad's family is Swiss. After moving west, finding Swiss food takes us on treasure hunts. For my birthday, I decided to find an authentic Alp experience in Portland. Trip Advisor helped me find Cafe Hibiscus. Tucked into a small neighborhood in NE, this hidden gem is a surprise. Because of it's small size (6 or so indoor tables), I... More

We called for reservations on 4th of July. They were closing at 8 but as long as we could get there by then we could get in. Very accommodating and friendly. We had the Bratwurst and Weinerli dishes. Both were very good and authentic Swiss food. The soup of the day was also very good. Well worth the visit.
