At the gates of the historic Laurelhurst neighborhood and just 3 minutes from downtown, Laurelhurst Market offers a uniquely Portland steakhouse experience. Drawing off our own in-house butcher shop, our seasonal menu focuses on sustainably raised meats highlighted by several cuts not common to the traditional steakhouse. Awarded one of Bon Appetit Best New Restaurants in America in 2010, we have been at the forfront of Portland's growing dining scene. We feature a full service bar with an extensive craft cocktail menu. Our convivial atmosphere is appropriate for both special occasions and families. Excellent food! Excellent service! A little noisy, but not overwhelming.

Spent Saturday night dining at Laurelhurst Market. Outstanding food and service! Be advised, go early! We went during the Portland Dining month so I went with the 3 course meal which included arancini balls as a tasty appetizer, slow roasted beef brisket and panna cotta with candied fennel for dessert. The ambiance was alright although I prefer cushioned seats for comfort and the service was adequate. We also decided to order the small charcuterie board... More

So this was my fourth try at this neighborhood restaurant. I'd been disappointed before, but I do like to give restaurants within a stone's throw of my house a few tries. The bread with ricotta was interesting and good. The seafood cocktail appetizer was good, if not memorable. The steak -- and this is a steakhouse -- was where we... More

We stopped by here for a couple of sandwiches. We had a Patrami and a Turkey sandwich. Both were tasty and just the right size. The price and service was also good

Had a business dinner there. The atmosphere is great, good service and the food was just superb. I also would recommend trying the pamplemousse digestif. The only criticism I have is that there was no espresso.

Wow, ate here last night and it is still on my mind. Ate their previously a few years ago. Their cocktails are exceptional and unique. I had two of their house cocktail, which is a smoky rye whiskey drink. I LOVED it and so did my BF. Doesn't sound like it would appeal to all, necessarily, but it's a must... More

It's really a steakhouse, but my dinners there have always just been OK. In Portland, the land of amazing food at reasonable prices, I expected allot from Laurelhurst Market. It did not achieve reasonable prices or amazing food. Even the butcher counter wasn't all that impressive. I can get better cuts of meat at Phil's Uptown Meat Market for around... More

We had dinner in the bar at about 8pm. The restaurant was quite busy and the bartenders were busy making drinks for the entire place. Our order was pretty simple. The food was very good. Should have had the ribeye, instead had another dish with beef medallions which came with sauce and fries. The other person had the flat iron... More

The restaurant is super cute and the servers were very knowledgeable but the food was lacking. For the price ($$$$) and what I expected being that it is a butcher shop, the food was mediocre at its best. The steak was tough and lacking flavor- chain restaurants make a better steak for a fraction of the price.

This place has great potential but was greatly disappointed. Started off with the ricotta spread and was not a fan at all. I ordered the Ribeye and it was so tough and the flavor was lacking. Was not a fan at all of the smokey flavor. The Mac and Cheese was fantastic though and we also ordered the creamed kale,... More
