I'm from Chicago and consider myself a bit of a steak snob. Walking in, i did not expect to have one of the best steaks of my life....but that's just what it was. The decor was cool, the service was great and the cocktails / craft beer selection was outstanding. I highly recommend this place and the ribeye.

Our group all Agee, great steaks and well presented. I had the ribeye and it was nicely slow smoked and aged. I expect a lot being from Texas and they delivered . Try the beet salad, wonderful.

The atmosphere was fine and clean but nothing special. They are a bit too big for their britches with sky high prices for ala carte food of average quality. $30-$40 for a steak alone better bring amazement and a true flavor experience. Didn't happen, I have had a better steak for a fraction of the price at Outback steakhouse. If... More

This is my 2nd visit here and it was half ok. We started off with the: deviled eggs which was very good, fresh mozzarella cheese, mover peaches, prosciutto and pistachio which was amazing. Now for the entrees I ordered the brisker again but it was so dry. We also order pork chops which was just ok and one of the steaks... More

The food here is great but the atmosphere really made the experience better than just any nice restaurant. Something about the space, the other diners and the staff immediately makes you feel right at home. I had an appetizer with their house made mozzarella, peaches, basil and prosciutto and it was outstanding! I highly recommend it but it's not cheap

We were seeking a steak... Feeling carnivorous. . This place was recommended. Busy so we sat outside. Menu was fresh and varied. Everything we three tried was excellent. . And I eat out 400 times a year... I love a place that has something original and pulls it off...

My son got the steak, which he liked; I had the salmon which was good except for the accompaniments - they just didn't go. The desert was terrible. I should know better than to order creme brûlée that has a "twist" - in this case, mocha with chocolate chip cookies. Creme brûlée needs to be just creme brûlée. We ate... More

The guy wanted to go to look for vinyl at Music Millennium 3158 Burnside in Portland and I was to find food for a picnic. Saw the sign for Laurelhurst Market and thought it was a grocery store, but is actually a restaurant, butcher shop and sandwich place. The restaurant looks beautiful and it appears they do table service in... More

We had the pleasure of being served fresh bacon and specially made breakfast sausage from the Laurelhurst Market at the nearby Portland Mayor's Mansion by the Innkeeper Dick. Fantastic quality ... highly recommended ... I cannot speak to how nice the restaurant is as we did not actually dine there.

Totally loved the sandwiches here. Great meats but also combined in a way that maximized their deliciousness. Only complaint was that butcher shop should have its own seating as we felt put upon as they were getting the restaurant ready for dinner.
