So we came here to have a few drinks before dinner downtown. We specifically came for the whiskey and cocktails but the food smelled and looked so amazing we had to order something while enjoying our drinks. GET the Duck Fat Fries, you'll thank me! They were heavenly. Service was truly on point and the staff were friendly and smiling.... More

My son and I ( both kitchen pro's) just went here again last nite. It is our go to place to enjoy small plates done extremely well. The Charcuterie board is superb, the oysters tiny and succulent, the lobster dumplings sweet and devine! My son loves the steak tartar and I the chocolate mousse. Oh and they serve sweet heavy... 'Dismissive & pretentious' attitude sums it up nicely. Do the math. On a street with dozens of friendly options

We went back to Branch for dining month. Gotta say this was one of the best places we tried. The salad was amazing. Great start to the dinner. We ordered the lobster and truffle pot pie. It melted in your mouth. The "crust" was like a popover, soft, warm and very eggy (is that a word) ahhhh who cares as... More

My husband and I found this restaurant on the Portland Dining Month list. The offerings looked good so we tried it. The items that we ate were not on the regular menu so when I rave about them be prepared not to see them unless you get there before PDM ends. We both started with a roasted pear and walnut... More

Fabulous selection of spirits, great environment, food, service. In short, I loved this place. We found this place through Living Social, would NEVER have found this place without the discount, and will definitely be returning. Perfect, a hidden gem!

I absolutely love this place! It is an amazing bar with 5 star quality food. Everything is house made with special attention to detail. The whole menu makes your mouth water and it's hard to decide sometimes. I have to admit I am in love with the Branch Burger w/ gruyere and house cured bacon served with duck fat fries... More

My husband loves whiskey, and he couldn't wait to try this place while we were staying in the Alberta Arts District. Unfortunately we were on our way to a performance at Wilson High School, so we only ordered the Duck Fat Fried French Fries. Wow!! If I only had six months to live, this is something I would definitely want... More

This was my third visit to Branch, and three times, we've had the same experience. At this point, we've written off Branch, even though we live nearby. The waiter was unfriendly and acted like he was being put out to wait on us. We waited for 30-45 min for our food, which was simply dropped off at our table. He... More

We visited Branch Whiskey Bar last night during our first trip to Portland. We didn't know what to expect, but the duck fat french fries & house made pate on the menu intrigued us. We went early to enjoy the happy hour (5-7 pm, including discounted appetizers and drinks), and it was a Sunday night, so it was pretty quiet,... More
