I met up with four other women from my book group. We started with a lovely bottle of French cider; complex fruit and very refreshing. The charcuterie plate and the cheese plates were delightful. Very intriguing dining room, with an amazingly simple kitchen that is visible from your table. Great service, and a very nice, reasonably priced wine selection. If it is available, a must-have is the whole roasted trout. I think anything you try will be delightful. Give it a try-you'll love it.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. I found yummy vegetarian options (kale gratin, beet salad, brassic plate) and my companions enjoyed the seafood stew and roasted whole trout. Ned Ludd is an interesting setting with very tasty food. The roasted trout was very good, as well as the bratwurst special. Everything is cooked using a fire instead of a traditional stove or oven. The menu is limited but the food is great. The seafood stew, trout, and delicata squash were some of our favorites. The apple cake and blackberry panna cotta were nice to finish the meal with. This restaurant is fun experience with delicious food.

All hot food is cooked in a wood fired oven. It's amazing. The drinks are hand crafted and very refreshing. We went there for dinner at 5:00 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. But I understand it gets very busy later.
