I heard about this place from my sister and then the owner was on Chopped. I read a couple of reviews and decided that I had to come here. All I can say is, absolutely wonderful! On Mondays, it's Pizza Social. THeir regular menu is not available. My wife and I shared two salads and a pizza. We had pole... More

We ate outside on a summer's evening, which was lovely. But the menu was exceedingly pretentious, with appetizers called forbits and salads labeled kaltbits. The food was fresh but cooked very simply without much in the way of spicing or sauces. We would recommend the smoked hen on toast appetizer. Overall,I thought the restaurant was undeserving of Portland's vaunted food... More

booked reservation online and said it was wife's birthday. They treated us to some champagne, and the most delicious panna cotta dessert. Communal outdoor seating was delightful. wait staff was great explaining the menu and making suggestions.

This is a love-hate relationship. I am on the love side. Fantastic smoked meats, delicious bloody Marys and great service in a lovely, eclectic setting. We enjoyed our Sunday brunch here tremendously. I'm really looking forward to heading back here for dinner.

The menu is based on what is available and our group had a difficult time picking dishes that appealed to us. In short, although the ingredients were fresh and trendy the meal failed to impress or meet our expectations. The consensus was that our meals were boring and not memorable in any way. Service was good and the restaurant although small... More

Ate at Nedd Ludd with our son & his girlfriend. We all had an excellent meal; halibut with herb sauce and borage flowers, grilled trout and pork. It's not large, but has both inside and outside seating. The parking is lot is small, so park on a side street of the lot is full. We also bought excellent baked goods... More

A traditional wood-fired oven is the basis of this intimate restaurant in northeast Portland, but the wait staff is its heart. Always helpful, they add to the experience with their humor and attentiveness. Expect expert advice on the modest, but solid wine list. Recently, one of the staff introduced us to a wonderful rose of gawertztraminer made by a local... More
