Visiting Portland and without a car at first, I went on the hunt for lunch near the Doubletree Hotel. TripAdvisor led me to Petisco. It was in a neighborhood full of restaurants behind the Lloyd Center Mall. I would have missed it but for the sign. I had a very good and filling roast beef sandwich. It was so good... More

It's been a couple of times now. The days were short and rainy, and spring was on its way. It was a Sunday even. All the Cafes on the street were packed, and so I passed them by, and by accident wound up at Petisco. What a discovery. The menu is European, with a flair for authenticity. The wine menu... More

I have eaten at Petisco Cafe both for lunch and dinner. The menu selects are creative and will dazzle your taste buds. I had the chicken salad for lunch. The mixture of chicken, pine nuts, basil, granny smith apples, raisins and a touch of mayo was a perfect blend served on fresh bread. The salad had a house dressing that... More

Had the best sandwich and amazing white sangria! The Sicilian was amazing! I would recommend this place to all that are in NE Portland.

Saturday's breakfast out with the cousins was such a delight. I liked the menu and had trouble deciding what to order. I am pretty particular about eggs benedict due to the poached eggs being mostly overcooked, my then sending them back, and proceeding to watch everyone else eat while I wait. I mentioned to the waitress that I wanted the... More

Nice spot for a casual dinner. We arrived in time for happy hour which featured great specials on wine and sandwiches. Appetizers and salads are great. Wait staff is very accommodating.

It's hard to keep giving Petisco good reviews. While their food is good, their menu is getting increasingly boring because it doesn't change enough. I'm sick of seeing the veggie enchiladas with Brussels sprouts. I DO NOT recommend this dish!! They are awful. I wish they would bring back a similar dish they served up a few summers ago. Brussels... More

The food is terrific. Easy to miss this gem, but well worth finding. The meat loaf wrapped in bacon, with mashed potatoes is my favorite.

On our first visit we appreciated the professional (yet casual) service, delicious food, appealing wine selection, sangria special (just my style) and intimate atmosphere combined with very reasonable pricing so much that we decided to return there on our last night in Portland. Favorites were an exceptionally fresh, perfectly dressed beet & arugula salad, a soul-warming french onion soup, and... More

My husband and I had our best meal in Portland at Petisco. The quality of the food was excellent, the service was quick and pleasant, the prices were reasonable, the portions were perfect, and the ambiance was romantic and relaxing. I felt very much like I was in a Parisian cafe or bistro. I wish that we had kept coming... More
