Cheesy goodness

Stopped here for a bite with the family and it didn't disappoint. Lots of cheesy goodness, we all had a different take on the old fashioned grilled cheese. Wife had Brie, daughter had bltgc, and I had the shocker-hot peppers with my own variety of cheese-Swiss, cheddar and provolone. Are our meal... read more

Yep, you get to sit on a school bus or outside on a great sunny day--which it wasn't for us. This is not your "normal" grill, infact, I may have never have come had I seen the joint, but wow, if you like cheese--this is the place to come for an "adult" version of grilled cheese. Think out of the... More

This was an interesting meal to try but I liked it! Really juicy and melting in your mouth. It was great! The chips on the side was great too.

It's everything you could want for a grilled cheese. I got the The Gabby (Four Cheeses on Portland French Bakery White Bread. Tillamook Cheddar,Swiss, Mozzarella, and Colby Jack Cheese) with Bacon. It came with pepper crinkle chips. It was exactly what I needed on a drizzly cold Portland day. YUM. Your companions want something else? No fear, there are a... More

There are 3 locations now and a mobile GCG for parties or corporate events. The Alberta site is my favorite since the parking is relatively easy there. My new fav is the Moondog - tastes like a grilled cheese pizza! The tomato soup is so good and great for a cold winter day! There is a refurbished school bus for... More

The Grilled Cheese Grill is pretty much a small family of food trucks out of which the grilled cheese truck one is the most famous. There is a huge variety of sandwiches to choose from, even for a vegetarian. Most cost about 6- 8 $, if I remember correctly and are pretty well done. The neighboring truck has some decent... More

The grill cheese is pretty tasty and they have a lot of options but in the end, it is just a grilled cheese sandwich. They don't elevate it to an art and it isn't really much better than any other grill cheese you get anywhere else. Novelty.

My husband and I decided to eat at The Grilled Cheese Grill during a recent trip to Portland. The food truck is cute and there is a school bus that offers inside seating. Outside picnic tables are also available. I had the Gabby which included 4 cheeses and my husband had the Mondor which included cheese, avocado, onion, and red... More

I have been to The Grilled Cheese Grill on multiple occasions but in the past month and a half at least once a week. My frequent trips are due to word of mouth at my job about how good their food is. I take one coworker who hasn't been there and they come back and tell another so the next... More

Four of us split the cheeseburger that replaces its bun with TWO grilled cheese sandwiches. It was too much bread and too much over all. How can one person eat this? It wasn't all that good.
