Had so much fun visiting this food cart. We were a little unsure since this Grilled Cheese Grill is a little out of the normal area for food carts, but was totally worth the venture out. The thing that makes this place so cool is the redone school bus that someone remodeled into a seating area with booths. We had... More

I had a grilled cheese sandwhich with cream cheese, Tillamook cheese, Jalepenos, corn chips all on one sandwhich - SOunds intense but the overall taste was awesome! Kinda of a long line but worth the wait! Prices were decent and great friendly customer service!

Visiting Portland, a city well-known for its fantastc range of food trucks, there was one firmly at the top of my list - the Grilled Cheese Grill on NE Alberta St where I was promised the best grilled cheese ever, a taste of my childhood and a super cute school bus to dine in. I have to say it did... More

I went to this food cart thinking 'The Chessus' burger would be a bit gimmicky and over-the-top. It was actually the best burger I have ever eaten. It is like a McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder with cheese, wedged between two cheese toasties..only better. If you are in Portland, do yourself a favour. Get all over this one like a kid... More

We found this on a bike tour and it was awesome! We had the meatball with marinara with cheese, of course, and it was fabulous. They have a full menu of unique, cheesy items.

The line-up was longest for the Grilled Cheese Grill and for good reason! The sandwiches are cheese gooey with interesting additions like avocado, bacon, roasted red peppers and chilies! Served with a big dill pickle spear and potato chips, this was gourmet grilled cheese at its finest!

One of our local food carts that has a kid style adult meal. Good food and fairly quick. Sit under cover outdoors or in the old bus. There is a surcharge for using cards so cash is recommended.

A substantial selection of clever and delicious grilled cheese concoctions, served food-cart style, but with all-weather seating available in an adjacent converted schoolbus. A bit pricey but entirely in line with the rest of Portland's food-cart culture.

A little hard to find, but it was tasty and if you don't like everything on the menu there are other vendors there too, I had a nice organic salad from the guy next door with my Baby Chesus (burger) from this place. Yummy.

There are multiple locations – we went to the Downtown Pod Cart on SW Alder Street. My husband parked the car in the pay lot in the heart of the Pod area and we started walking. There are a TON of food carts in this area, but I already had my mind set on grilled cheese. We arrived around 7-8pm... More
