The Waffle House was an unique dining experience for breakfast. The liege waffles were very well made. Had a mixture of sweet and savory waffles that were all pretty good. We were surprised at the savory waffles with the sugar but it worked very well.

Our second trip to the Waffle Window was disappointing. The waffles seemed to be slathered in sugar and were overly sweet. Even the savory ones were too much for me. They were decent, but our first time there left me craving more while a year later I would never go back.

If you're in Portland, you can't miss this restaurant. Both the sweet and savory waffles are amazing, and are completely worth waiting a few minutes in line. If the weather's good, definitely sit outside.

Definitely the best waffles I've ever had, but this is definitely not the #1 restaurant in Portland. Not even close. If you're looking for some of the best breakfast food you've ever had, this is the right place for the right price. I had the 3 Bs and it was amazing.

Nice little treat if you are into calories. We will go back and hope to bring our teenagers here next time. Inline the fact you don't have to sit outside if it's chilly out, just go into the restaurant on the front street and they have a few tables set aside from the main restaurant.

This place was pretty good, but not the kind of place I would go out of my way to find as I did on this initial visit. The waffles are loaded with some good stuff and I have no complaints. Portland is full of food trucks serving similar fare so you probably can get comparable in other places. Nothing bad... More

I found this place on TripAdvisor. Had to check it out to see why it received the # one ranking in all of Portland. After a fifteen minute drive from the airport. We found the place. Not much parking so park a couple of blocks away. A great walk to check out the houses and neighborhood. We were welcomed at... More

We were there around St. Patrick's Day so we had the Luck of the Irish special---chocolate Irish cream mousse, whipped cream, strawberries, chocolate sauce, and pieces of chocolate truffles. Oh my! It rocked! I even loved the fruit cup I had on side---no melon in sight. We'll be back the next time we're in Portland.

The Waffle Window would be easy to miss, half ablock down a side street from the entrance to Bread and Ink Cafe. There were three of us and we tried different waffles and shared. All were excellent, especially considering the price. The Alberta is a waffle with bacon on syrup, three B's has basil, brie and bacon while the ham... More

Don't remember the last time i stood in line and ordered thru a window, but i sucked it up and went along. Well worth it. We ordered about six different waffles and every one was delicious. Waffles like i have never seen prepared or tasted before. No hype just great food at an affordable price. Well done Portland!
