I am sorry to report this restaurant has closed. The minimum number of characters to submit a report is 100, so I am adding this line. The only information I actually have is that the establishment has closed.

It was very disappointing not to receive the credit promised by owner, Todd Steele, after I inadvertently paid a gratuity on top of the automatic gratuity they charged for my large party, in spite of 4 phone calls to remind him of his promise. The food was mediocre but the good will offered for this overpriced meal would have made... More

This has to be the biggest secret on the food front in Portland. Happy hour food is great, dinner is exquisite with excellent wines by the glass and very good cocktails, All entrees are good, but the fettucini is to die for.

Being a cook that works from the ground up and with the best ingredients, it's nice to know there is place that serves the kind of food I don't normally make at home. The bone marrow appetizer and duck confit entree was excellent and begs for more than a second visit. Wine flights are fantastic for those new to wines... More

Metrovino is a great restaurant within the Pearl District and an especially terrific stop for wine lovers. The wine list is broad and offers patrons the option of a half glass in addition to standard full glass and bottle offerings. They also offer many wine flights which encompass most types of wine you may be searching for. While the menu... More

At the edge of the Pearl District, MetroVino is a terrific spot to enjoy a little wine education. The tasting menu is fun, our group tried three different flights and each were true to their description - and the tidbits offered by the wait staff. Full wine menu and food menu also available. Decor is open and trendy. Not formal,... More

I've had many dishes at Metrovino, all very good. My absolute favorite has to be their fettucini. I've never had better anywhere. Cooked to perfection, dressed in truffle oil and caviar, with a beautiful poached egg on top. Wine is exceptional, even by the glass and they can put together a great cocktail in a heartbeat. I particularly like tables... More

My wife and I have been frequenting Metrovino for about a year now. We particularly love the charcuterie plate. All house made and cured meats, very nicely presented on a large board. We tend ot eat this for dinner as the large portion is enough for two. We also enjoy their brunch, very good classics with a twist. The Indonesian... More

Never again. Over $850 for a table of seven when only four people were drinking wine (and not a single bottle was ordered) - never again. I have had favorably meals at Metrovino. I like the burger. The wide variety of wine pours (where else can you get a great "taste" of top flight wine?) and the off-the-beaten track location... More

We stopped at Metro Vino after a sporting event and on a fluke. What a jewel! We have eaten all over Portland and at many of the highest ranked, and this is hands down the best dining experience we've had. The serving was outstanding and the food was phenomenal. We had the three course chef's experience which came with a... More
