This is by far the best latte I have ever had! It's my first stop the second I get back into town :) It's a cozy little place with very nice staff members. I have purchased their beans as well... so delicious.

Great coffee and the decor is beautiful. The service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful! The location was perfect since it was close to my hotel and I can quickly jump in and grab a cup to go before my meetings.

Had a Mocha and Cappuccino. Yum! Although I would have like the mocha slightly less sweet. The cappuccino was better. The ham and butter baguette and it was very fresh! The bread was chewy and who can complain about butter?

This is a very community-oriented place and local. There was a small but good collection of pastries and a baguette sandwich. I went there before 9am on a Sunday morning, so they might have other things later. The coffee of the day was a well-brewed Ethiopian, but I wished that there were others to try as well. The staff was... More

And it's other location, Sterling Coffee, is awesome too. Made fresh with care, it is a bit pricey but the best I have had in Portland so I don't mind paying.

Good mochas with nice latte art. They have some nice-looking pastries, but we didn't try any. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and wanted to try a bit of brew before I bought any beans, so they gave me a free sample to taste. It helped me decide which beans to purchase. The... More

If you are into good coffee, forget about (already) pretentious Stumptown. Go for Coffeehouse Northwest in NW Portland. Here you will find very few coffee choices but these are some of the finest coffees you'll find. The place is small and somewhat badly located on Burnside but still if you can find a seat, just order a good coffee and... More

My husband is always searching for well made espresso to start off his morning, and this place, a five minute walk from the Park Lane Suites and Inn where we stayed, became his go-to morning place. Surpassed his high standards. Good apple turnovers, too.

I recently spent two weeks in the Pac Northwest (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver) and this place not only had the best latte on my trip (and I drink A LOT of coffee) it was the best that I've ever had. Just incredible!

In two weeks throughout the northwest, I would say this is the best coffee I had. The baristas were nice and made great drinks. I stopped in here several times over the trip and was never disappointed.
