It was our first time in Portland, and I wanted to book dinner before arriving. I read about this place and booked site unseen. We arrived at our reservation time, and we were promptly seated. The place is cozy and on the smaller side. The tables are close together which was not an issue, but it was a little loud... More

When you walk in the door, don't look to the right. It's a cluttered short hallway scene and detracts from the experience. Once beyond that, sit by the window in the middle room, order the lunch special, ask the server which wine-by-the glass will complement it, and enjoy the meal. The lunch entrees are ~3/4 those for the evening, and... More

Alright, if I was rating my experience here JUST on the food, I would say my meal was five outta five stars. It was sooooooo good !!!, I had the lobster ravioli, it was the house specialty I was told, and it was absolutely AWESOME !!! I also had the frito misto which was the seafood sampler, and it was GREAT... More

I almost missed this place because of an unfortunate situation on New Year's Eve where the kitchen decided to close before we could get there for a reservation. However, I liked what I read about the place, so we chose another time where our watches were in sync, and I'm glad we did. The food was creative, the prices fair,... More

Very enjoyable atmosphere, tucked into a very walkable neighborhood. We had attentive and friendly service and excellent food. The bread is delicious and my risotto fresh and cooked properly. Very nice wines I chose the Tuscany and was very happy.

This is definitely the highest quality restaurant in the hood. Pricy, but its an every once in a while treat. Everything made from scratch. Super authentic and also amazing, inspiring flavor combinations. I was super glad to have this restaurant accessible after visiting Italy and experiencing, first hand, how amazing Italian food can and should be. A Cena is like... More

This place is outstanding. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly yet professional, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The roasted beet salad, crab risotto, and pork loin special were particularly good, although everything we tried was excellent. We had an early reservation on a Saturday night. The room rapidly filled up, but unlike many places with cozy seating, the noise... More

Our group had a wide variety of food preferences, and all were happy. On the hearty end, the beef short ribs were hearty and flavorful. Others in the group enjoyed the boar pasta, soup, and salad. Appetizer portions are hearty, so I recommend sharing. The wine list had a variety of Italian wines at a reasonable price, and the server... More

We were guests at this fabulous restaurant near my son's home. I've had a lot of my favorite scallops in many places and countries, and these were one of the best. We had great appetizers and I tasted everyone elses food that included the lobster/pasta dish---superb!!
