Brave menu without the risk

This is a small boutique restaurant and bar in a up and coming part of town. Great atmosphere and intimate without being crowded in. Menu is tight and looks to often change. Portions are generous and well appointed with artisan touches and house made sauces. Past was amazing, steak cooked... read more

First, my husband and I really wanted to love this restaurant! It was on our list of places we wanted to eat at for almost a year. We finally got a date night, and decided to try Lincoln out. We booked it through Open Table and were seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful, but the rap music was a... More

The worse restaurant. Dont know if our problems were because it was the night before Thanksgiving. If that is the case, the restaurant should have been closed. Some of the problems: I had to go the bar to get my own drink. Food was mediocre. Found a piece of plastic in the pulled pork.( I guess that means they opened... More

I've eaten at Lincoln now several times, and in a crowded and very high quality restaurant scene in food-conscious Portland, this restaurant has yet to disappoint. This last time I started with a spare rib tartare and went on to enjoy the special lamb's neck with flat breads. Both were outstanding. We enjoyed a good wine recommended by our server,... More

Often eat at the bar, especially good happy hour menu. Premier casual dining spot in Portland's east side. Quickly becoming an institution - a go to spot.

Our experience was really superb! We were staying nearby, had just gotten in, and our Uber driver recommended Lincoln. We are voracious foodies and were happy to have a well reviewed place nearby. Reading over the menu, the octopus, short rib tartar, and gnocchi had us on our way. It was a Thursday night, fairly early, and the restaurant was... More

When we are tired, hungry, can't decide what we want to eat, need to be headed towards home and pub food will not do, Lincoln is our go to place for dinner. David's warm greeting when guests arrive help bring back some of the lost energy and enthusiasm after a long day out. Whether we are looking for entrees or... More

Nice open restaurant. In nice weather sides open up feeling like you are eating outside. Good menu with fresh foods. I had a nice spaghetti with octopus and albacore. Others had the chicken. All enjoyed the meal. Desserts are a real treat especially the popcorn pana cotta

We had a wonderful meal here earlier this week. The green beans with apricots were special favorite! We ordered a number of appetizers in addition to our entrées, and each dish was special in its own way. We also loved the setting of the restaurant, because it was a lovely evening, all of the windows were open to the street.... More

If you are more interested in unusual ingredients and how the meal looks this is the place fir you. Your friends will be impressed. If you are more interested in how the food tastes, go somewhere else. Don't get me wrong food is not bad it just isn't that great. Friendly staff and good service and a pleasant setting. Only...
