Description: Fusing a distinct Northwest and classic Scottish Pub feel, this Pearl...
Fusing a distinct Northwest and classic Scottish Pub feel, this Pearl District destination has become a convivial gathering spot of beer and food lovers since its 2008 opening. The brew pub's 18 taps feature Deschutes mainstays plus a selection of seasonal and experimental beers developed and brewed on site exclusively for the Portland pub by brewer Ben Kehs. Executive Chef Jill Ramseier heads the kitchen team, crafting classic pub food taken to the next level. Jill matches our brewer's passion, creating dishes from scratch with the best possible local ingredients.

This place was packed and buzzing on a Monday night, in part due to the 75 degree weather with people vying for the outside seating. Although a bit loud, it was obvious everyone was having a great time and enjoying a beautiful spring day in Portland. Even with the crowd we were seated quickly and... read more

All the food at other tables looked delicious and I enjoyed their beer! Nice, relaxing environment...and I loved the garage door that opened up to feel like you're eating outside!

After a long day on a business trip I stopped in here for a beer. I tried the Oat that they had on nitro. It was very good if a little on the warm side. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled delicious. Bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of outside tables on the sidewalk.

The wait was LONG. I was there on 1/2 marathons weekend but I saw tables sitting open and vacated for long stretches I'm sure that wasn't speeding things up. Our waitress was VERY GOOD which kept me away from the average review. I know its a brewery but if you don't drink beer good luck... cider selction was terrible in... More

We walked around for about 20 minutes looking for somewhere to eat that was casual but had a great atmosphere....jackpot! as soon as we saw Deschutes from across the street we knew it was our type of venue. Very busy with all sorts of customers buzzing around. We were seated within minutes of walking in and our server Dustin brought... More

Always love the many food options that include local and organic as well as gluten free and vegan options. Decent wine options as well. But, of course, when you're at one of the best breweries in town...

I've been here twice now and the draft selection never ceases to amaze. This time I was here on the tail end of American Craft Beer Week and they had some awesome deals going on beers and sample trays. I had a "plum runner" which was the easiest to drink9.4% Belgian dark ale I've ever had! Great atmosphere, but the... More

I like Deschutes Brewery's beers. Some I like a lot, but their Portland pub pales (and I'm not talking pale ales) compared to their flagship pub in Bend, Oregon.

Popurlar spot, so get there early. Lots of different drafts to choose from if you;re a beer drinker (and it seems like everyone in Oregon is a connoisseur of beer!) Good burgers, good flat iron steak. Fun place to grab a bite for lunch or dinner.
