Friendly British style Pub

Very nice neighborhood British style Pub. Reminds me of many Pubs I have been to in England overs the years. They have quite a few beers on tap and many more in bottles/cans. I tried one of the specials, a Boneyard, and it was very good. While they don't advertise as a family friendly place, young... read more

This is a great, old school pub. Good service and good drinks, can't go wrong here. Lots of old wood on the bar and a some dart boards in the back gives this place a great feel. Easy place to just hang out and relax. Will come back again when I am in this area of town. You should come... More

The dart boards are plenty. On a busy night.... share. The food is good and the beers are perfect. (especially if you like Guinness) The parking is around the neighborhood, but there is plenty of free parking. In the summer the side yard is nice... except when it's 100°.... so stay closer to the bar.

I have always enjoyed this place. Food is cooked when you order, so don't expect fast food. I've been in here many different times. Sometimes I like to come in, get a pint, and sit down with some reading or writing and just absorb the atmosphere. Tons of beer on tap, traditional British pub fare food, just a lot of... More

I come here as often as possible. Great beer, awesome fish n'chips, and great ambiance. Perfect for an old man like me to sit back reminisce in the good ol' days.

This one of many bars I stopped in with my friend while I was in Portland. Overall, not bad. Decent selection of tap beer. Didn't see the prices on any of menus. Each craft ran me $5, which is decent. PBR was also on tap, which I'm sure would have been $4 or under. Not a bank buster, though definitely... More

We were looking for an Irish pub after hiking the falls near Multinomah, this had good ratings even though not Irish, so we stopped in. The waitess was awesome going over tap list which was not same as menu and Porter was excellent as was the Stout. She also gave her opinion on the food and was very helpful. Then... More

I stopped by here after a meeting, on the way back to the airport. I grabbed a seat at the bar, which was mostly full already just after opening. They have a lot more beers on tap than I expected, but I went for an old "stand by" Guinness & a pie. I figured i ate enough pie & mash... More

I have been coming to Moon and Sixpence for years now and always love it. The food and beer selection is really good (British pub food) and it has both indoor and outdoor seating. It also allows dogs outside so that is nice too. Sometimes the service can be slow and on occasion there are large parties taking up a... More

The Moon and Sixpence had good reviews, so we tried it for lunch today. The tables and chairs were all higgledy piggledy, and we weren't sure where to sit. We stood there for about three minutes, none of the staff acknowledged us - so we left. Boo!
