Small restaurant on HWY 101 with the best fish and chips and burgers I have ever eaten. They sometimes make homemade cookies and sour dough bread. Soooo good!

First, make sure the place will be open when you plan to be in town. On both our visits, it was closed on one of our two days in P.O This time we chose clam chowder for lunch. We were disappointed. The soup does have a nice assortment of spices, but it was more a bacon-potato soup, with very little... More

They have great food here. My wife had fish and chips that were great. Very high quality fish. I had a western bbq burger that was also awesome. Friendly staff. Very small dining room. If possible during windy weather, try sitting away from the door. My only disappointment was the pie was gone we got around to ordering it. Check... More

Yes--all those great reviews are right on. Been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better. Aside from FNC--crab cakes, shrimp tacos and great desserts. Uff da!

Great fish and chips. The dining room is small and usually very crowded. Good soup in the winter and seafood all year around. Right on Hwy 101 so easy access for people traveling through but they should stay in Port Orford and check it out!

We had passed by the Crazy Norwegian and laughed at the name for years. We finally stopped and have revisited several times since. We will make a 3 hr. pilgrimage this weekend. Suprising inside, fresh, clean and cheerful. Family type friendly folks from the area, wonderful seafood choices and great desserts. Have a couple chowders and share a big plate... More

Fish was prepared well and you got a big helping. The chowder wasn't to my liking, but some may love it. (lots of dill)

The Crazy Norwegian was a memorable dining experience. There is a stunningly beautiful beach within walking distance, so I recommend takeout. We requested two orders of the fish and chips to go, but enjoyed a cup of the clam chowder while we waited. The food was fresh and delicious. Don't mind the gruff and surly locals and staff, their character... More

The fish taco was excellent, the shrimp melt - oh yeah! And the bread bowls are really baked fresh every day. A MUST stop restaurant.
