Great, reasonably-priced meal in a cute place

We had a very good dinner here. My husband had the fish and chips and I had a bay shrimp melt. Both were tasty. I really liked the cole slaw too. Desserts were delicious and made in-house - pie and cobbler. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place!

Small and funky-fun atmosphere. After a lengthy wait OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN, the fish & chips were good. The coffee was like water and never re-filled. My order came filled with fresh jalapenos... when I told the waitress, she offered to add the correct ortega chili. That would not help because the jalapeno heat had already permeated through the sandwich.... More

As someone allergic to most seafood it is always a little disheartening when we go to the coast and everyone tries to discover a good seafood spot. Thanks to TripAdvisor, finding some great fish and chips in Port Orford was easy. The cod was flaky and fresh, with just the right amount of batter, while the shrimp were very flavorful.... More

We stopped here for lunch based on the TA reviews. The fish and chips were good and service was very prompt. I had a cup of the clam chowder, which was very thick as appears to be the custom hereabouts, which tasted better after I added a fair amount of tabasco sauce. We enjoyed it and the food was reasonably... More

Honestly, everything was freshly prepared and delicious! We had salads, fish & chips and shared a blueberry pie ala mode. If you are going through Port Orford, stop here. You won't be disappointed.

Definitely worth a stop but go early or late to avoid the crowd. The fresh seafood and standard sandwiches are excellent. The restroom, unfortunately, could use an update, and was not very clean on my last visit so don't drink too much liquid.

We ate here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is delicious and fresh. Salmon salad was perfect and was accompanied by their famous chocolate malted. For the fish and chips, they offer different sizes which helps those of us who eat less. The fish was great; the french fries were... More

The fish and chips lived up to their promised potential. Also enjoyed the clam chowder and a BLT. Service was top notch. Those ladies know how to run a restaurant. Friendly, skilled and engaging. Didn't treat us like annoying tourists, which was nice. Only improvement would be to step up their "chip" game. Chips were over-cooked but no matter. Left... More

Wasn't quite what we expected for being number 1 on the list. Definitely don't recommend the chowder tastes like potato soup... Nuff said :-[

We stopped in mid afternoon on a Sunday and had fish taco and butterflied shrimp. Both were excellent. We definitely will come back.
