My husband and I travel Hwy 101 in Oregon frequently. We try to schedule our passing through Port Orford so that we can stop for either lunch or diner at the Crazy Norwegian's. We love their fisn-n-chips! They are light, never greasy! They also have excellent homemade desserts that are hard to pass-up.

My party of four visited the Crazy Norwegian during our visit to the Oregon Coast in October. We saw the reviews for the food on TripAdvisor and selected it over several other restaurants in Port Orford which, in fact, had all received good ratings. Two of us in our party ordered the fish and chips platter, one ordered the fish... More

We weren't going to leave Port Orford without trying the fish & chips based on all the great reviews. My husband just returned with our take out order and it was sitting in grease and the batter was doughy and it was under cooked. Such a disappoint. We recommend Port & Starboard. Chris & George

Stopped in around 7:30pm for dinner as they were getting close to closing time. The service staff was very helpful and did not rush us at all with our dinner. We had the fish and chips / clam chowder which was very good and the marionberry pie with ice cream was out of this world. We were very pleased with... More

We stopped for lunch on our way South & were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The fish taco with chipotle sauce was outstanding. It was more burrito sized with a large piece of cod & one was enough for lunch. The crab melt was the best I've ever had with a 1/4 lb. of crab on 2... More

We had friends raving about this place so we decided to try it out. None of the food had any flavor. The clam chowder (which was supposed to be the best) was lacking clams and taste while the fish in the fish and chips also lacked flavor. Terrible food.

4 of us went on a Thursday afternoon, about 1:30, so, in their defense, it WAS lunchtime. We had to wait for a table for :20 since this tiny, charming-looking cafe was packed, which only whetted our appetite all the more. The wait gave us a chance to walk around the "shack"-like building and check out the mural...adorable. In fact,... More

First, they were out of oysters. The sourdough bread is excellent, but they had none to sell. This is on Saturday. I had a bowl of clam chowder and a salad. I wouldn't put this clam chowder above Campbell's. Apparently, they blend it, as there were no clam pieces in sight. Had no personality whatsoever.

Reasonably priced and food is always fantastic! Fish and Chips are great and their crabcakes are to die for!

We love this place. Yes, it can be crowded but that's because it is so good. The wait staff are sweet hearts as well. We go there at least once a month.
