We stopped for brunch on a Sunday. The view is spectacular, even on a cloudy day. Arriving early is a good idea as the restaurant was full by the time we left. The brunch menu is limited but the food was good and the coffee was great. This is an excellent choice on the South Coast.

The good news: great views, decent wine list. After that - a wasted culinary experience. Our appetizer was the seafood profiteroles and had canned shrimp in an over spiced relish sauce...awful...our main courses had 1) too much liquid sauce, 2) over-cooked broccolini, and no flavor whatsoever with our salmon and cod! Dessert was flourless chocolate cake that had nothing of... More

We went there for dinner last night as we had read the reviews that it was a good place to eat, no not true. I am not sure how you can serve food that has no taste or flavor. I had the pork that was described as having a pumpkin seed crust, actually the crust was just a bit of... More

This restaurant is owned by Chris Hawthorn's and is next to his gallery. We had the opportunity to meet his new chef and was amazed that with his background he would be in Port Orford. The food was excellent. The deserts are made on sight and you must save room for them. The view from the inside dining room as... More

Traveling north on Highway 1 for our vacation we happened upon this restaurant. We sat outside on the deck and the view was incredible and breathtaking. We ordered the special (sole, asparagus, roasted potatoes & strawberry basil creme brulee). We were delighted to find such delicious food and grand atmosphere. The Chef (John) greeted every person and talked at length... More

Enjoyed the food, view and staff so much for brunch that we returned for dinner. I had an amazing salmon omelette and my husband had the chicken sandwich. Super delicious! For dinner my husband had the chefs special which was a very unique sea food dish and I enjoyed the steak. Dessert was amazing as well, tiramisu and champagne kisses!... More

I probably shouldn't have ordered the salmon and kale salad. I will be picking kale out of my teeth all afternoon. Sandwiches looked good. Looks like a nice place for dinner.
