Greeted by a lukewarm waitress at lunch. Good beer in pints 5.00 Very small limp watery cod on dry bread with a touch of tarragon mayonnaise. Glad I ordered the Yukons fried in duck fat , as they were good. We will be doing a project in this town , so will be back. Avoiding lunch might improve our chances... More

Had a lovely lunch with a great view and jazz playing in the background. I found the staff attentive and friendly. Food quality high with surprising touch of sophistication in presentation, portion size and flavor.

Redfish is probably the only nice place to eat in Port Orford that I know. . . Such a small town but this little gem is amazing. It's right on the water on a cliff. It's not too big so we happily sat at the bar. The salmon was cooked on a plank with a mushroom risotto and cauliflower; it... More

Monday September 1st 2014 - the chef must have taken the day off. The waitress waiting on us should have stayed home too. Poorly presented overpriced appetizers and entrees ( special of "prawns" was 4 medium sized shrimp) - and amazingly the $2. bread order did not arrive until the meal was being concluded - in spite of our asking... We had a good brunch , but the time it took to get the food was way to long . We stopped by at 2 on Sunday and just got eggs and bacon and it took well over 40 min. They did not have anything for the kids to get . But the table next to us they had kids... More

We were just cruising the coast and stopped here because of the view. Expecting to pay top dollar for a decent meal, we were pleasantly surprised. An excellent meal, great service, awesome view at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't miss it if we're in the area again.

Tonight I met some friends for dinner at Redfish. A great big welcome to Shane. His new menu is varied and offers wonderful options for diners. I had the Spicy Manila Clams and loved the flavor. The presentation of all the entrees was beautiful. I look forward to a return visit.

We stopped here for lunch on our way up the Oregon coast. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and I had a Kobe beef burger. Both were very tasty, with a side salad and roasted potatoes. It was a lovely meal with a great view overlooking the beach and Battle Rock. A perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Who would think that in tiny Port Orford, OR, there would be such a great find of a restaurant as Redfish. The building is small, but very nicely designed with a wonderful view of the sea through large glass windows. With an excellent wine list, the meal we had was as close to perfection as possible. With excellent presentation, the... More

A friend and I decided to check out galleries and artists on the Southern Oregon Coast and ended up having Lunch and Dinner (because lunch was so wonderful!) at Redfish!! The food was fabulous and the service was perfect. The bartender had created some yummy cocktails with fresh peaches and it was obvious that she took great pride in her... More
