We visited attracted by the illuminated espresso coffee sign to have coffee for 5, including a wheelchair user. It was quiet with just a couple of tables occupied and we asked for coffee and were told we'd have to wait over half an hour and then that meals would take priority. He never said it was more a restaurant and... More

For sometime now, San and I have been looking for a good excuse to make the relatively short journey down to Port Orford so we could give the restaurant, Redfish, a try. As locals, we had been hearing about how good it was for awhile now, and of course, we wanted to see for ourselves. So, when our June birthdays... More

Wow, and I mean WOW this is great food. The Fantastic food, beautiful views, great service was the perfect ending to a hike on the Rogue with my friends. We shared bites of our dishes with each other and raved about the food we were eating. I highly recommend to anyone taking a trip along the Oregon - you've got... More

And I love crab cakes -- they're a dish, whether as an appetizer (in this case) or a main, by which I judge a Northwest seafood restaurant. These were luscious -- full of crab, and, if there was any filler, it was undetectable --with just a bit of a kick. I had the halibut, and my husband had the salmon... More

Driving through Port Orford on 101 a stop at the Redfish Restaurant is a must. It's located right next to Battle Rock park in the center of town. The views are magnificent whether you eat inside or on the deck. Not hungry? Stop anyways for a glass of wine or a cocktail and just enjoy the views. They have an... More

My wife and I are locals. We occasionally visit Redfish on Sundays for their brunch. So do lots of other local folks! The view is...incredible. The restaurant is clean and upscale. Decor is influenced by the art gallery next door. Beautiful art that you don't see in other restaurants along the coast. They have a creative chef that could be... More

Best option for a nice/special occasion dinner. You cannot beat the view - worth the premium. My food was good but a little too sweet on the dressings and sauces. Our waiter was very nice and decor was fabulous, very artsy.

This has got to be the finest restaurant along the Oregon coast--definitely worth the trip. Everything about it needs to be talked about using superlatives--wonderful food, artfully prepared; the most incredible view from anywhere in the restaurant; impeccable and friendly service; next door is the most amazing art gallery. We will find our way there again and again--it is worth... More

Redfish is my favorite hangout on the south coast. The view is amazing; Gregg and Robbie at the bar are fantastic, and the food is marvelous. In an otherwise desolate stretch of 101 this is a welcome find. Go there!

You might be tempted to drive right on through Port Orford on your way to somewhere else, but instead be sure to stop at this wonderful restaurant and the huge, adjacent art gallery for both excellent food and very interesting art works for sale. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking wild rock formations and the wide expanse of the Pacific... More
