Easy to miss this spot that overlooks the Pacific and has seating for only about 40. Menu changes seasonally, menu looks to provide local sourced, fresh seafood and other fresh dishes made with care for quality. Had tomato bisque and a bacon and cheese salad that was excellent, price was $15 or thereabouts for both. Not somewhere for the budget... More

Redfish is a pleasant small town dinner -- part bar, part lunch spot, and 100% magnificent ocean views. We had a nice evening out, but found it less than overwhelming as a dining room. The menu was limited, with some appearing bits. The salads were okay without vein spectacular. The other meals were just okay -- nothing bad, but nothing... More

Just want anyone to know that the second time we ate here we had a much better experience. The service was quick and very good. The food was delicious. We had brunch and we were very pleased with our selections and will be back.

Trips to visit family in Gold Beach always mean making the 45-minute drive for at least one sundown dinner at Redfish. Nice ambiance, great view, interesting menu that changes with the seasons, good selection of wines and, according to my sister, one of the few places that makes a decent sidecar. There is outdoor seating for when the weather permits,... More

There are not many options for accommodations and dining between San Francisco and Lincoln city if you're traving hwy 101. If you like exceptional food, skillfully prepared, surrounded by art with glorious high bank ocean front views, come to Redfish. The attached gallery and upstairs upscale suite for overnight stays is exceptional. We make a point to stop or stay... More

After 4 hours traversing the Oregon Coast Highway 101, I saw this place positioned right on the cusp of the coast and I knew I had to stop in for a little sustenance. The place was quiet and I was able to grab a table right by the window which overlooked the ocean. I ordered the manilla clams and vegetarian... More

Great atmosphere and cuisine at this unassuming gem. It came highly recommended, but surpassed my expectations. The staff was delightful without becoming part of the experience. If you're in port Orford, you must indulge at redfish.

My husband and I had reservations. When we were seated, I asked for a different table, and was told that the one we wanted was reserved for four. However, a couple came in that did not have reservations and asked for that table and was seated. On their wine list it listed a special for Pinot Noir wine, but found... More

In a town of about a thousand it's absolutely amazing to find a restaurant that I would easily eat at in San Francisco. The food is fresh, locally sourced, and well prepared. We ate here twice and liked it both times. Excellent salads and all four main courses were excellent although our favorites were the chicken with truffled grits and... More

The view is the top selling point along with extremely pleasant staff. I fear that we did not arrive on the cook's lunch best day. We had eaten here before and the food was terrific. The other customers seemed to be enjoying their food and the acorn squash is praised in another review but mine was amazingly overcooked and bland,... More
