We try to eat at Redfish every time we're in the area. This time, we started with a Caesar salad. Out entrees were the salmon and ling cod. The sauce on the salmon was excellent! For dessert, we went with the chocolate decadence. As always, the service was very good and the view of the ocean great. There was, however,... More

Had dinner at the Redfish on our annual coastal trip towards Astoria. Having eaten at the Redfish 5 prior times expected the usual great quality meal and service. Must have been the cook and waiters night off. (Law of averages) My seafood dish was over salted and the waiter seemed to have a chip on his shoulder as a result... More

After many glowing reviews plus a recommendation by the place we were staying, we had high expectations for our first dinner in Port Orford. The location is great - it's right next to Battle Rock park/beach and has nice big picture windows looking out over the water. The food was good but nothing spectacular - our chili glazed shrimp appetizer... More

Our stop here for our anniversary dinner could not have been better. Double cut lamb chop was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side included kale that was well above average for a green. The fresh berry tart was a pleasing way to end the meal.

Customer service from Sara was great and ambiance was great with lots of local art and great views. The food was fine and I am aware of no better options in Port Orford. Get to dinner early, stroll the beach, then eat.

After 4 nights of camping we were ready for a fresh, delicious meal. Redfish fit the bill. Amazing view and wonderful food. Huge wine list and nice selection of NW beers. Reasonably priced and nice portions of the seafood. Service was pleasant and efficient.

Stopped here on Monday for dinner. Our waiter was fantastic, view is great and dinner was wonderful. I had the carrot and ginger soup, and grilled cod with asparagus and pasta in a lemon creme sauce; my husband had one of the specials offered that evening, pork cheeks, and they were very tender and tasty. We were able to be... More

Only had the greek salad-but oh what a delicious meal. It was a feast for the senses because the view fills the background while the food nourishes the body. Love the organic!

Just off Hwy. 101, at the information center in Port Orford, the location can't be beat. Direct ocean views from every table and incredible food - trendy or traditional. The décor inside is a masterpiece of itself. Great bar selection too. Nice quiet ambience, not really tuned in for very young children as it is a small, intimate dining room.
