A little jewel in Port Orford

The cod with mushroom risotto with wine lemon sauce was so rich and yummy! Service was good. Artwork was very interesting and very well done and the music and ocean view were an exceptional added treat. Definitely recommend eating and viewing here. The creme brûlée was just okay, so it would be nice to see some other desserts that are... More

Twice was two times to many. The last visit was the last straw. After being seated, we became invisible and the server kept walking by our table of two to tend a table of six. After about fifteen minutes she stopped and asked if wanted something to drink. We ordered a moderately expensive Pinot Noir. A while later she brought... More

This review is an attempt to slander our restaurant. We were not open for the entire month of January when you claim to have visited. We have not served Lamb Chops at Redfish in nearly a year. Furthermore, your description of service is not founded in any reality and is a fabrication from start to finish. We appreciate that you... More

Redfish used to be one of our favorite restaurants on the Southern Oregon coast. The service was very good, the food was excellent with a very nice presentation, including Chateaubriand. The wine sommelier was excellent. On our last visit to this restaurant I tried to make reservations via phone but was unable to. When we showed up however we were... More

Dear Bill, If it were not for the suggestion that you are local, I would have thought you wrote about the wrong restaurant. We have not had a sommelier on staff. There are no servers on staff that would open a bottle of wine before showing it to you, nor would they set it down for you to pour yourself.... More

Wonderful Sunday Brunch. My husband had never eaten at the restaurant. The weather was wonderful, the sliding doors to the patio were even open. We ordered the fish tacos with salad and fries and split the order. BEST fries in my whole life! Tacos were moist and seasoned perfectly. Husband also ordered clam chowder that he said was beautifully prepared... More

Newer restaurant. Good menu. Service was quite good. We came in at 6:15 pm on Saturday night in February. Every table was taken. We only waited a minute for our table. We drove by other restaurants in the area. They only had one couple in each. Can't really say why. I think they were older and not up to date... More

My clams were tasty with garlic sauce. The cod was good for both of us. The wife's salad was tasty with lemon honey vinaigrette. It was good food but pricey for lunch. Good service and of course the view was grand.

Easy to miss this spot that overlooks the Pacific and has seating for only about 40. Menu changes seasonally, menu looks to provide local sourced, fresh seafood and other fresh dishes made with care for quality. Had tomato bisque and a bacon and cheese salad that was excellent, price was $15 or thereabouts for both. Not somewhere for the budget... More

Redfish is a pleasant small town dinner -- part bar, part lunch spot, and 100% magnificent ocean views. We had a nice evening out, but found it less than overwhelming as a dining room. The menu was limited, with some appearing bits. The salads were okay without vein spectacular. The other meals were just okay -- nothing bad, but nothing... More

Just want anyone to know that the second time we ate here we had a much better experience. The service was quick and very good. The food was delicious. We had brunch and we were very pleased with our selections and will be back.
