We were driving through town looking for a place to eat and found Griffs. I ordered the two piece fish and chips. The batter wasn't thick and the snapper fish was just awesome, no grease and the French fries were crisp and seasoned well. I can honestly say this was the best fish and chips I've ever had. I'd also... More

On this visit, we reluctantly passed on the cioppino, since we'd had a great batch just a few weeks ago at the Garibaldi Inn in Garibaldi, and chose 2-piece fish and chips with fries on two successive days. One of the meals included oysters, which we'd skip next time in favor of more fish. The coating on the fish was... More

Griffs on the Dock is a small, quaint restaurant with a lot of great food. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I had the fish & prawns and it was delicious. Lightly breaded and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steamers which were also quite tasty. They have many varieties of fresh seafood to choose from as well as a... More

Fabulous FRESH seafood. Right off the boat, through the kitchen and onto your plate. Salmon filet was one of the best my companion ever had. My fish and chips were very good also. The ambiance is a little bit dock but that's the authentic part. The dining room is not very deluxe but the food makes up for it.

Quaint, friendly, down home atmosphere and outstanding food selections. Fast service, small enough to feel at home, and yet large enough to have privacy. Interesting and unique gift shop.

Not great food, but at least the place was open! Nothing else in town was on President's Day or most other winter days. They have a tiny little museum and the whole place reminds me of going to the beach in the 50s and 60s. Unfortunately, I've gotten used to much better food since then. We were still grateful for... Stopped here on our way home from the Oregon Coast and had lunch. Nice break from the drive, he had cioppino and said it was excellent. I had the 2 piece fish and chips and they were very good. Not all thick with batter, just enough breading to make them good! Cute little place, very rustic, dock setting. Our waitress... More

My boyfriend and I had a quick bite here. I had 3pc fish and chips, he had combo plate which included oysters (which he felt were a bit "strong"). I enjoyed my fish. He enjoyed the rest of his lunch. I don't know if I would come here for dinner but a midday meal or snack & a beer would... More

My husband & I had lunch at Griff's after a recommendation from a friend. He said they serve some of the best cioppino that he had ever eaten. On our visit, we tried the fish & chips and calamari & chips. I didn't care for the corn meal batter (I prefer beer batter). It was OK, but not great, and... More

Cute tiny restaurant on the dock where the fisherman are. Nothing fancy they had fresh petrale sole caught right there for dinner, baked potato and a salad with homemade pies.
